‘Since we’re adding cream, it’s better to have it stronger than Americano. Also, even though the coffee that serves as the base for Einspänner sometimes has sugar added, let’s skip the sugar this time because we’re having it with cake.’
Rather than pouring as much water as usual when making an Americano, April poured less to complete the coffee.
