The Omega Princess and Her Two Leashes - Chapter 27
Chapter 27
Arlenrose and Violet were safe only because they had already left Daimon. But their hearts were far from safe. The sudden tragedy had left them devastated.
After a period of intense grief and anger, they had frozen like deer caught in headlights, unsure of where to go. In her despair, Arlenrose considered her options. She could gather the escaped omegas and create a second Daimon to replace Muren.
But if the world remained the same, the same tragedy would only repeat itself. It was then that Arlenrose realized her initial mistake. Running away solved nothing. It was not enough to secure her own happiness. It was not enough to improve the lives of those immediately around her.
She should have changed the world itself. She should have made it a place where everyone could be safe. This was the price she paid for ignoring her responsibility.
Of course, there was no guarantee that she could change the world. But if not her, then who? She was the highest-ranking omega, the strongest omega. As one born in alpha’s clothing, she was the only omega who could infiltrate their world at its deepest level.
Summoning all her strength into her trembling legs, Arlenrose pushed herself to her feet. She extended a hand to Violet, who had remained frozen until then. Hand in hand, they began to move again.
One year later, Arlenrose Vi Fleurose, the lost princess of Fleurose, returned to the royal palace. It was around the time that the Demonas, an omega liberation movement, began its operations in earnest.

Hair.
Arlenrose bit her lip as she hurried down the corridor. When she had faced Camin as Diabolus, her hair had been cut by his blade before she could stop it. She had later returned to retrieve it, but it seemed that Camin had acquired the remaining strands.
Her hair was platinum blonde, an uncommon color. If he investigated using the hair as a clue, she would likely become a suspect. And if he compared its thickness and curliness, it would only be a matter of time before he identified her as the culprit.
Moreover, she had used her spirit’s power during her fight with Camin. If he recognized that power, he might conclude that she was the culprit right away.
‘I have to find it and get rid of it somehow.’
It was an urgent task. But there were other things she needed to consider first. For one thing, Camin and Enrique would have already seen the color of her hair. If so, they might already suspect her. However, she had not sensed any such suspicion in their conversation earlier.
‘Perhaps he acquired someone else’s hair.’
It wouldn’t be strange to find someone else’s hair in a place where so many people had passed through. If that was the case, it would be better to leave things alone for now and let them chase a wild goose.
‘There’s also the possibility that it’s a trap.’
She couldn’t rule out the possibility that they had deliberately leaked the information to set a trap at the location where the hair was being kept. It was urgent, but she needed to proceed with caution.
‘If only I knew what color the hair was.’
Thanks to Violet, she knew that the clue was hair, but she still didn’t have enough information to act on it.
A sigh escaped her lips. She felt so frustrated that she wanted to beat her chest. If only she could talk to Violet more, but all they could do now was exchange a few short gestures.
‘Violet.’
Arlenrose felt a pang of sadness as she recalled the image of Violet from their brief encounter earlier. In truth, she didn’t even need an excuse like a clue. She just wanted to talk to Violet. Back in the north, they had been like sisters, talking endlessly every day. Now, they couldn’t even have a proper conversation.
Her heart ached unbearably. The image of Violet’s swollen belly made it worse.
