“Why did it settle again? Just a moment ago…”
Araella’s puzzled voice echoed throughout the room.
Like Araella, Helios was also noticeably restless as he observed Sera.
As soon as he had emerged from Sera’s subconscious, the curse mark on her body, which had started to show signs of disturbance, suddenly returned to its original state again.
More priests had been called in to infuse more divine power, but Sera’s rapid breathing slowed down, and the faint curse that had begun to fade was becoming clear again.
It was evident that this was not a positive reaction, without needing to ask.
“Your Majesty, it seems like Belzebuth’s presence has gained strength again.”
A breathless Roward hurriedly answered before Helios could even ask.
Though it was an expected response, Helios clenched his fists, wishing it weren’t true.
“Is there absolutely no way?”
Remembering that there was only one chance to enter Sera’s dream, Helios asked again.
Reluctantly and with heavy expressions, everyone bowed their heads, providing a response more definitive than any words could.
A painful sigh escaped through Helios’s clenched teeth.
“Can I enter Miss Sera’s dream again? I’ll go if I have to.”
Unable to just stand by, Raphael, who had been watching, pressed Araella for an answer.
Shocked, Araella immediately objected, saying that was absolutely impossible.
“As I mentioned before, it could cause further confusion in her consciousness, and we cannot guarantee what problems might arise.”
Ignoring the tense Araella and the others, Helios went down on his knees to check on Sera, who seemed to be breathing comfortably as if dreaming a happy dream.
She appeared to be smiling, as if lost in a pleasant dream.
Even knowing that enough divine power had already been poured into her, Helios carefully placed his hand above Sera’s forehead.
For some reason, he felt an anxious premonition that if he missed this chance to wake her, he might lose her forever.
“Sera.”
He called her name with effort. The golden glow of divine power flowed from his fingertips into Sera’s body.
“Wake up, please. I’m right here, waiting for you.”

‘Sera.’
“Ah.”
For a moment, as if someone had called her, she hesitated, and then the sharp edge of a piece of paper sliced her fingertip.
A red droplet quickly formed on the tip of her white finger.
“Sera, are you okay?”
“Sera, did you get hurt?”
“Sera, are you alright?”
Ferre, Rosé, and Helios asked in turn, concerned.
Feeling an ominous sensation as she stared blankly at her finger, Sera responded after a moment.
“I’m okay.”
Helios quietly took a handkerchief and cleaned Sera’s hand.
Watching him, Sera tilted her head, puzzled. Helios asked as if finding her reaction strange.
“Why are you acting like this all of a sudden?”
“No… just… usually, you don’t wipe it like this.”
At Sera’s reply, Helios shrugged his shoulders, as if to say when was he ever not gentle.
Sera, feeling she had caused a misunderstanding, quickly continued.
“I mean, normally, you’d heal it with divine power, so this is new to me.”
It was a light-hearted comment, but Helios’s expression became troubled. Maybe he was upset.
As she was contemplating whether to explain herself, Rosé and Ferre chimed in.
“Even Oppa gets tired if he uses too much divine power, Sera.”
“Sera should be more considerate.”
Although what Rosé and Ferre said wasn’t wrong, their uncharacteristic response left Sera bewildered.
Wouldn’t Rosé and Ferre usually make more of a fuss over her getting hurt?
Feeling strange, Sera hesitated when the voice echoed in her head again.
‘Wake up, please. I’m right here, waiting for you.’
Initially unnoticed, the voice echoing in her head was Helios’s.
Why? Helios was right in front of her.
At that moment, the uncomfortable feeling she had upon waking that morning returned.
Was it real, or was it a dream? The discomfort of endlessly pondering felt unnerving.
Hesitantly, with Helios still looking at her with concerned eyes, Sera whispered cautiously.
“Heli. The day before the sealing ceremony… Do you remember what I said? I said there was something I wanted to do.”
“Hmm…”
Helios seemed not to remember, taking his time to respond. Sera watched his face anxiously.
As time stretched on, the fears she hoped were unfounded seemed to become reality, causing Sera’s breathing to shake with anxiety.
“Can you tell me what it was?”
Clang.
At that moment, Sera despairingly looked at the ring on her ring finger.
Noticing Sera’s unusual expression, Rosé and Ferre added their thoughts.
“Sera. Why does that matter?”
“Even Hyung might forget sometimes.”
“There are so many days ahead of us, is it really that important? We can always make more memories…”
Helios, or rather the entity bearing his appearance, showed a bright smile as if to dismiss her worries.
But Sera knew. She knew that Helios was not someone who would easily forget or break a promise made to her.
“Stop this. Now.”
Therefore, Sera spoke out firmly.
