Moritz pressed his fingertips down until her furrowed eyebrows straightened again.

“Why……. us…….”

Moritz giggled softly as Lily muttered in a sleepy voice. It was really cute. He then turned to his side and stared at Lily’s sleeping face.

“Shall we just live like this? It’s such a waste to give it to him…….”

Lily, who slept quietly with a calm face, couldn’t hear that of course. If she could hear it, of course Moritz wouldn’t have said it.

Moritz, a little shocked by his own words that came out of his subconscious, got out from the bed, wiping his face with his large hand.

These feelings were not in his plans at all.

Early in the morning, Shelley, the best tailor in Cretail, visited the Kneiss Mansion with her assistants to make a new suit for Moritz.

Shelley reached towards Lily with her arms open and held her tightly in her arms. Lily laughed awkwardly at Shelley’s cheerfulness.

“This is Lily of the Ravenas family. I’m sorry for the sudden increase in work, but I want you to make Lily’s dress as well.”

A young lady who came and went to the Kneiss Mansion, was by no means a common occurrence. Of course, some secret partners entered the basement through the back door. However, it was the first time he exposed a young lady by his side to others like this.

Of course, Lily was also the first lady introduced to Shelley by asking her to make clothes.

Shelley meticulously scanned Moritz’s eyes, expression, and voice as she looked at Lily. The unbelievable story that ‘the Grand Duke Kneiss is obsessed with the daughter of the Ravenas family’ was not a rumor.

When Moritz heard that there were only two colors of fabric, a light smile quickly passed by his face. It was obvious how the Emperor would feel if Moritz came to the Emperor’s party hosted by the imperial family, matching with Lily.

“Are you okay with that, Lily?”

“Beggars can’t be choosers. Please make it very pretty.”

Moritz nodded. And he tilted his head to the side and whispered lowly as Shelley approached.

“It’s okay if the design is overtly similar.”

“Very similar design…… ?”

Shelley knew what that meant, too. So she was even more surprised. This was Moritz, who had never given a spot next to him to any lady.

“Then……. I will get to work right away.”

Taking out a paper and pen, Shelley instructed her assistants to measure Lily. Her assistants approached Lily with a tense face.

“Ah, sorry. The measurements, Shelley, I’d like you to measure it. Lily is a little shy of men.”

Moritz raised his arm and blocked the assistants from coming closer. Then Lily furrowed her eyebrows.

“Oh, we are just friends.”

“Really? For that matter, it sounds like you had a pretty great night.”

Shelley, who was taking the measurements, pointed out the kiss marks on Lily’s collarbone, nape, and inner thighs with slow glances.

Embarrassed, Lily stammered while blushing. Shelley laughed, finding Lily cute. Is this the charm that captivated Moritz?

“Are you personally invited to the banquet? Or as the Grand Duke’s partner?”

“I was invited.”

“Ah…….”

If she was invited to a banquet by the Emperor who had yet to have an Empress even though he was of marriageable age, that was what it meant. She would be a candidate that the imperial family wants to be accepted as Empress.

However, the Ravenas family was not a successful, well-known family. They retained the title of count, but in reality they had little power.

Lily smiled mischievously. Shelley tilted her head at the strange answer. Was Lily trying to make the Emperor jealous?

“Please make it pretty. Even if he’s jealous, it’s lovely.”

It was as Shelley expected. Lily was amused to imagine Matthias being jealous.
