Andra glanced once more at Dustin standing off in the distance. A gentle smile played on her lips as she did so. This made Stephanie unable to hold back her questions yet again.

“…Lady, I hope you don’t mind me asking again, but are you serious about this? About… Lord Airak?”

What kind of relationship could exist between the Avelin and the Airak? Wasn’t it common knowledge that they were bitter rivals? As if destined by fate, people with those family names had always been busy looking down on each other.

At that moment, Dustin stepped out onto the balcony behind her and naturally wrapped his arms around her waist. His large hands and arms enveloped her gently, as if cradling a baby bird.

Leaning into his solid embrace, Andra turned and suggested.

“Should we head down to the beach later?”

“If you want to go, then of course anywhere is fine.”

“Let’s pack some snacks for the trip. Oh, and I should grab a book to read. Lying on the beach with a blanket and reading has been one of my dreams.”

Andra spoke with a light laugh as she gazed at the dazzling white sands. Unable to resist, Dustin showered her cheek and shoulder with gentle kisses.

“Ah, that tickles!”

Andra giggled, squirming at the sensation.

Suddenly, a cool breeze swept through. Brushing her golden hair behind her ear, Andra said in a calm voice.

“It really feels like a dream.”

“…I feel the same way.”

That day, under the old tree where she met Dustin and reaffirmed their love, Andra went straight to her father, Albert, to tell him she was going to the south for a vacation, using Stephanie Jewelie as an excuse.

Albert seemed to have many questions but ultimately agreed without hesitation. Although her third brother, Ian, objected, Andra’s firm stance led him to help her prepare for the trip without asking any more questions.

Despite feeling guilty for deceiving her caring father and brother, Andra was eager to head south. Right now, all she wanted was to spend time with Dustin.
