The meal and tea time, set against the lake’s background, were languid and boring.

While others might have found plenty to discuss and share, Ariel was just brought along by the Crown Prince and forcibly included. Rather than enjoyable, it felt like she was under scrutiny. She remained quietly on the sidelines without a chance to join the conversation. She was the last to leave after people of much higher status had left first.

Still, she was able to ride the car. The quiet car, devoid of anyone else, was the most comfortable she’d ever been.

When she arrived at the first dormitory building, Ariel headed straight to her dormitory room after she was greeted by a maid.

For the first week after the start of classes, both new students and transfer students had no classes. This was to give them time to adjust to the academy. Students used this time to create their schedules and familiarize themselves with the facilities. Even after submitting their schedules, they still underwent about a month of adaptation.

The enrollment of new students and transfer students was officially reflected only after this period.

During the enrollment period, classes at the academy proceeded differently than usual. The lectures in the first week covered non-academic topics, such as the purpose of the lectures and introductions to professors, and the next month was abbreviated. Including the general education classes, even skimming through everything was overwhelming.

In the midst of this, she was troubled by not knowing her magic traits. The imperial academy was an institution for cultivating advanced talents in magic. As such, it was meticulously categorized in terms of magical subjects. Magical courses required attendance at least twice a week, and there were courses that could or could not be taken based on aptitude tests.

So, without knowing her aptitude, it would be a waste of time to take anything but the most basic magic classes. It was also an obstacle when planning her schedule.

“What am I supposed to do if I don’t even know my aptitude after coming to the academy? When will the test results come…”

“I intended to give this to you as soon as you arrived, but you seemed busy. I apologize for the delay, Young Lady.”

“This came for me?”

“It arrived around noon today.”

“What kind of document is it?”

“I don’t know about that either. I received it from a maid at the dormitory here, but she didn’t explain anything to me.”

“It seems like they’re implying that we should check it ourselves.”

After Canon quickly left the room while she was still distracted, Ariel immediately opened the envelope when she was alone in the room.

At the thought, she drew a bold line through the packed timetable. She kept only the most basic magic classes she needed.

…Two on Monday and Wednesday, one on Thursday, and just one general education class on Friday.

Ariel stretched after creating a noticeably more relaxed schedule.

It felt like she had crossed a big mountain.

With a refreshed expression on her face, she never once thought that her result sheet had been manipulated.

Ariel, a transfer student with no classes to attend, lounged on her bed. The blue sky and the garden blended together outside the wide window.

“The weather is really nice.”

She muttered, yawning languidly.

Originally, she had planned to take a stroll around the academy. However, she noticed the existing students attending classes, making it difficult to roam around without drawing attention. The vastness of the grounds also made walking around quite difficult.

As she lay there, rubbing the sheets idly, she felt drowsiness creeping over her.

‘I didn’t come here just to take a nap…’

As thoughts of the targets crossed her mind, she pulled out her cell phone and rolled over onto her stomach.

Devoncia and Racine were far away, so their locations weren’t properly displayed. They were completely outside the academy. It didn’t seem like they hadn’t even gone to class, so where could they have gone since morning?

‘Skylar and Lexius didn’t go to class either? Doesn’t everyone have class?’

If there were free time, wouldn’t it be okay for her to visit?

With that thought in mind, Ariel raised her body from where she was lying down. If she could meet at least the remaining two and raise their favorability, it would be much better than lying around wasting time like this.

Ariel alternated between looking at Skylar and Lexius’s location window on the screen.

“If I have to meet them now, then probably…”
