I Think I’m a Horror Game Villain - Chapter 6
Chapter 6
“Where?”
Tommy frowned as he looked in the direction Rose was pointing.
“Maybe it’s just a flickering light?”
Even though Zion tried to sound nonchalant, a faint tremor could be heard in his voice.
“…It looks like it’s moving?”
An unidentified white object was slowly approaching us. The faint white dot gradually approached, taking on a definite form.
Five slender fingers. A lifeless hand with smooth skin, beneath which blue veins were clearly visible. The strange, pale hand was crawling towards us.
“F*ck!”
“Aaah!”
With Tommy’s cursing and Rose’s scream, we fled in panic.
The pale hand that had spotted us started running towards us, its five fingers spread wide like spider legs, striking the ground menacingly. The pale hand chased us from behind. However, there was something even more terrifying to me.

Endless status messages unfolded before my eyes.
‘Stop decreasing now!’
The incessant notification window blocking my view made it impossible for me to fear the pale hand. I begged as I was being dragged along by Rose’s hand.
Please, don’t let me faint again.
* * *
We entered the nearby room and hid ourselves, avoiding the hand. As soon as we entered the room, Rose, who was trembling with fear, sat down and blinked her unfocused eyes as she asked, “Th-That, just now. Th-That was a hand, right?”
“…It seemed like it.”
“What is that? Ugh, I hate it…”
Rose burst into tears again.
“Stop crying already!” Tommy snapped at her, but Rose couldn’t retort like earlier. It was understandable.
‘There’s no way she has the energy to fight after seeing the hand crawling through the corridor.’
While Rose was trembling in fear, I, charged with the task of fainting, was surprisingly holding up well. When I first saw the hand, it felt like my heart was about to stop, but… maybe because I knew a bit about the settings? It wasn’t as scary as I thought it would be.
‘I guess it was helpful that I looked into some settings that Im Ha-yeon recommended.’
I recalled the explanation Im Ha-yeon gave me about the ‘severed wrist’, which was one of the common decorations in the corridor.
‘So, it’s probably just wandering around the corridor and doesn’t really cause any harm…’
As I tried to recall the information, a message appeared in front of me, making it scary to grope my own mind for memories.
[A new collection has been registered. (1/20)]
Huh? What did I do to have a collection registered?
【Collection】
Severed Wrist in Search of its Owner.
It wanders around the first-floor corridor of Clarence Mansion, looking for its lost owner. When it encounters a person, it approaches closely to confirm if it is its owner. After confirming, it wanders the corridor again.
(If you help the wrist find its lost body, you can obtain a special item.)
After the notification window disappeared, a thought suddenly came to me.
The stories of users who played the game repeatedly to achieve 100% collection completion in LMM.
[Has anyone completed the collection at 100%? I’m’ at 97% and don’t know where the last one is.]
└ [97%? Wow, even after playing over 20 times, I barely passed 70%.]
└ [You can’t find the one on the 5th floor either?]
└└ [Oh, did you find it?]
└└└[No, I couldn’t find it either. It seems like it’s not implemented yet since nobody has found it.]
Ever since the rumor started spreading that they’d be treated to a hidden ending when they collected all the collections, fans have been excitedly collecting the items.
‘There’s no hidden ending.’
I wrote three different final chapter endings:
1. The bad ending, where the player ultimately fails to escape the mansion and becomes a ghost.
2. The normal ending, where the secrets of the mansion remain unknown but the player successfully escapes.
3. The true ending, where the player uncovers all the truths and successfully escapes.
There are also minor endings where the protagonist dies or goes insane. However, I didn’t write a hidden ending that appears when they complete the collection.
‘I didn’t even know what collections there are in the first place.’
Im Ha-yeon often told me about various game settings, but she never mentioned the collections separately. Well, she might have mentioned it, but I might have overlooked it and forgotten. As far as I know, there was no hidden ending in this game.
‘But that’s not important right now.’
Although it looks scary, I discovered that the severed wrist doesn’t cause any harm. Of course, even if I see a moving hand, I can’t just act like nothing happened…
‘But it seems a bit less scary than before.’
Was it because I’m still in the early stages? It was hard mode, but it’s not as terrifying as I thought.
As I finished my thoughts, Zion called me with a trembling voice. At the same time, Rose, who was right next to me, screamed and moved away from me. Her expression was as if she had seen a ghost.
…A ghost?
No way.
I gulped and turned my head.
A pale hand with five fingers spread out was trembling in the air, as if greeting me. And then…
Thump.
It grabbed my arm. Its form was clearly a human hand, but the sensation against my skin was completely different from what I knew. Its skin was as hard as clay and had a freezing temperature, akin to something just taken out of a freezer. The stiff fingers, devoid of warmth, brushed against my arm, making a cracking sound as it bent.
A shiver ran through my whole body. Goosebumps rose on my skin, and the back of my neck turned cold.
Don’t they say that when something is so overwhelmingly scary, people go silent instead?
I didn’t scream or make any sound. I just blinked my eyes blankly.
“This is…”
Suddenly, it came to me. It was like the time during gym class when I saw a spider happily crawling around on my arm as I sat on the bench.
[Decreasing mental state by 4.]
My mental state ended up reaching 0.
At that moment, I couldn’t be more grateful for the fact that I, Heyna, was in charge of fainting.
