I Think I’m a Horror Game Villain - Chapter 11
Chapter 11
“What’s with the suspicion? Zion, what are you talking about?”
Zion hesitated for a moment before speaking.
“First of all, I want to apologize to everyone. My real name is Zion Delius.”
“Delius… you mean?”
Rose’s eyes widened.
“Zion, were you from the royal family?”
“What? A royal? Him?”
Everyone’s expressions showed surprise. I was also surprised, but for a different reason than the others.
‘He’s revealing this already?’
The fact that Zion was the emperor’s son was supposed to be revealed in the middle of the game. It was unimaginable that he would reveal his true identity before the chapter even started.
“Yes. I’m sorry for deceiving everyone.”
“Forget the apology, but why are you telling us this now?” Tommy asked casually.
“Although it’s not something to brag about, I have a good memory. So I remember the faces of most of the noble children I’ve seen at parties. I’ve seen Rose and Dekir a few times at social events. But…”
The golden eyes, shining brightly, glared at me intensely.
“Heyna, I’ve never seen her before.”
Rose responded in a bewildered tone after hearing Zion’s words. “What? But why didn’t you say anything until now?”
“I couldn’t suspect someone without concrete evidence, so I was just observing. If Heyna did anything suspicious, then I planned to bring it up.”
That was why Zion reacted that way when I said ‘Heyna Blaise’ earlier.
Everyone’s gaze turned toward me.
“Come to think of it, I met the Duke and his son before. I distinctly remember him saying that he was the only child… “
“What? Rose, is that true?”
Tommy asked, and Rose replied with a trembling voice, “Yes.”
“If that’s true, then Heyna is…”
“Based on the information we have so far, we can’t help but think that Heyna is the villain.”
[The suspicion level towards ‘Heyna’ has increased by 1 for Rose.]
[The suspicion level towards ‘Heyna’ has increased by 1 for Tommy.]
Everyone was suspecting me.
‘This can’t go on like this.’
“Hey guys, wait a minute. I have something to say too.”
“Go ahead.”
“The truth is… I’m not the legitimate child of my father, Duke Blaise.”
This was also a secret revealed in the middle of the game. Heyna was set to be the illegitimate child of the Duchess.
When she was young, she was raised under the care of her cousin, but when her cousin fell ill, there was no one left to take care of young Heyna.
The Duchess revealed her extramarital affair to her husband and pleaded with him to bring Heyna into the noble family.
The Duke, being a kind-hearted person, could not refuse his wife’s request. And so, Heyna became Heyna Blaise.
However, no matter how kind-hearted the Duke was, he couldn’t love a child who wasn’t his own blood. The Duke didn’t want to reveal Heyna’s existence to the outside world, and his wife felt the same way.
As a result, Heyna grew up confined within the house, unable to enter society.
So it was natural that no one had seen her in high society.
I explained in detail why ‘Heyna’ couldn’t make an appearance in the social circle.
“My father, mother, and older brother never accepted me as a member of the family. When I became an adult, they planned to marry me off to a noble from another empire to completely erase any trace of me.”
As tears welled up in my eyes, Zion nodded.
“I understand the situation. If that’s the reason, it explains why I’ve never seen Heyna.”
Despite his words of understanding, the suspicious glances toward me remained the same. Tommy and Rose were the same.
‘It’s not going to make a difference, even if I explain it here.’
“Wait. Heyna…?”
Dekir, who had been listening quietly, asked me with a surprised expression.
“Heyna, do you remember me?”
“…Huh?”
“Oh, right. That might be the case.”
Dekir nodded with a nostalgic look in his eyes as he looked at me.
“Sir Dekir, are you acquainted with Heyna?”
As if he had been anticipating Zion’s question, Dekir answered.
“Yes.”
What kind of nonsense was this? Why would you and I know each other?
“What? Really?”
Tommy exclaimed in disbelief from beside Rose.
“But earlier, Heyna didn’t recognize Dekir at all. She even called him a villain. Are you two really acquainted?”
“Yes, maybe it’s because it happened when we were very young, and she can’t remember. When I first met Heyna, she was only 5 years old.”
Dekir explained that he met Heyna by chance in the Blaise Duchy’s garden when he accompanied his father to a banquet.
