I Grabbed the Tyrant’s Heart - Chapter 105
When I saw a solution, I was left with no time to worry about anything else. I rejected all invitations, and sparring with Tess was canceled.
All day long, I was locked in my lab or study.
The only time I saw the sky was when I was taking a short walk after eating or stretching to overcome my drowsiness.
As usual, I was stretching outside the lab.
“Euseniel.”
I hear a voice I shouldn’t have heard, but it might just be me right?
“My Euseniel.”
The sweet whispering sound cruelly reminded me of reality.
“Why are you here!”
“Since Euseniel is not coming, I have no choice but to come to you.”
I couldn’t bear to shout and only whispered, but the other person spoke calmly.
Through the window behind Tess, I can see Weathering’s seated back.
“Tess, you-”
“So what are you going to do?”
“What I’m saying.”
As I felt a presence getting closer, I grabbed Tess by the collar and hid him under a boxwood.
“If you come out, I will kill you.”
I gritted my teeth and stepped on a tree to prevent him from not coming out.
“My plan is, oh my. Miss Hardland.”
“Hello.”
The three female researchers were people I sometimes encountered at social gatherings. The conversation became unnecessarily long as they asked about my dress and jewelry.
Afraid that Tess might suddenly get up, I glanced at the boxwood.
“See you next time!”
As soon as the researchers, who were particularly talkative than usual, left, the window burst open now.
“What are you doing there?”
“I was stretching because my body was sore. Why?”
“It seems like it’s been a while since you left, you’re still not coming back.”
Weathering didn’t seem to shut his mouth if he had something more to say. If he mentioned something like a partner, Tess might explode the whole Concium.
“I’ll be right in. Anything to organize? Something for me to do?”
“No, not at all. By the way, Euel.”
“Tell me when I’m in.”
The boxwood wriggled, but I could not make any reaction, fearing that Weathering would lower his head. The moment that man lowered his head, he would make eye contact with the Emperor lying on the ground.
It’s horrifying just to imagine.
“Alright.”
Fortunately, Weathering just nodded, closed the window, and sat back down. After confirming that the golden hair did not move, I called Tess.
Tess, who got up, seemed unwilling to tidy up his messy clothes. He only focused on the goals he set for himself.
“Euseniel, you promised.”
Tess, whispering as he caressed my back. Looking like the devil himself.
“To do it with me. Huh? Can we do it here?”
I threw his hand that was trying to dig into my clothes.
“I’ll go, I’ll go!”
“When are you coming?”
“I’ll be going sometime next week. I can’t go until then. I don’t have time to give you even if you come to the Concium’s front door. Understand?”
Tess looked down displeased, but his mouth affirmed.
“I understand.”
Fortunately, he was no longer clingy and disappeared.
“Whoo…….”
I let out a sigh as my daily life started to become a mess again.
We’ll see, Tess.
I know I won’t get caught up in you anymore.
I had an eye-opening week.
I had to dig up the clues I found so that the flow wouldn’t be interrupted, while preparing to punish Tess.
He asked me to kiss him, to use the sword he gave me, or to come to the palace!
“Cheeky!”
“What else is going on?”
“What?”
“Didn’t you just say something?”
“I’m talking to myself, myself.”
Weathering shook his head and returned to focusing on his papers. Seeing that he was frowning, it must have been something that had to be submitted to the department, not research material. He hated the administrative work that came with teaching.
“Weathering, if there is anything I need to see, give it to me quickly. I have to leave early today.”
“Why is the teaching assistant busier than me, the professor?”
“Because I’m Euseniel Hardland.”
Because I’m Euseniel who is being threatened by Tessvalun!
Of course, I kept those words to myself, but Weathering didn’t try to stop me, perhaps he had understood it on his own.
“Yes, that’s understandable. Here, just look at these.”
I used to do a lot of paperwork because I was much more familiar with administrative paperwork.
These days, I’m busy looking at businesses related to my family because of the successor class and the like, but Tess is really!
I did my best to get through the paperwork and then left the Concium. As soon as I left the front door, I put on the hooded cloak I had prepared.
The destination was an underwear store that was popular these days. The store was located on the outskirts of the downtown area, and on the second floor, overshadowing the rumor that it was doing well.
Did I choose the wrong store because I didn’t have much time?
“Welcome.”
Two women who looked older than expected were manning the store. Looking around, there are a couple of changing rooms and several brochures. The catalog-style booklets were quite eye-catching.
There’s a reason this store is popular. They have a lot more variety of designs than other salons, and they’ve made it easy to choose.
“Is there anything you want?”
“I came to order something special.”
“Yes, please tell me.”
Of the two women, the one with the hair up spoke.
“Are you a designer?”
“I don’t make it myself, but I do suggest it. I am the one who decides the material or measures the size, so please let me know if you have a different shape in mind.”
As she took out the drafts she had prepared and held it out, I meticulously examined it with a curious gaze.
“Make what I ask for within three days.”
The owner who heard the request looked troubled.
“I’m sorry, but the deadline you suggested is too tight.”
Without saying a word, I set the bag I had prepared beforehand on the table.
Curious about the heavy-looking pocket, the owner peeked open inside. She asked me as she tightened the pocket’s opening.
“In three days, are you coming to pick it up yourself? Or can I deliver it to you?”
“I’ll come get it myself. Do I have to measure separately?”
“If you know the size of the clothes you usually wear, you can let me know.”
The payment went through clearly, and three days later the store had what I wanted. I took the result and left the store.
Is it a reckless plan?
