I Became the Villain's Master - Chapter 74
Chapter 74
“Hmm. That’s right.”
After the platinum ring arrived, Leila stopped her disgusting acting and treated me with indifference.
“I think she had a different idea at first, but I guess things have changed now.”
“I think so too, Miss.”
“Just help me a little longer, Mary.”
“Yes, of course.”
Mary nodded her head vigorously, and I smiled and took out the communication device.
It was a magic tool that Helena gave me along with the platinum ring. It was disposable, but that didn’t matter.
Anyway, all I had to do was let her know the situation.
Now the final act of this farce was approaching.

“Leila. I’ll be out for a while with Mary. I need to get a checkup from Aunt Celia, and I’m going to take a walk in the city.”
“Oh, really? Have a good time.”
“Thank you.”
Leila replied coolly, and Rosette went out of the house with Mary.
Clang-
Leila, who had been sitting there indifferently as if she didn’t care, slowly got up from her seat when she heard the door close.
And when there was no more sound, Leila started to move quickly.
“There’s no reason for me to be in this house.”
Leila hummed a tune to herself and entered Rosette’s room.
She put the pearl necklace she was wearing back in its place and immediately opened the second drawer.
“There it is….”
When she opened the box, the platinum ring that Leila had so desperately wanted to have was shining brightly.
With trembling hands, Leila took it and put the ring she was wearing, which looked similar to Celia’s platinum ring, into the box.
‘This should be enough to keep me from getting caught, right?’
There was no way Rosette, who was not good at distinguishing jewelry, would notice the switch.
Leila carefully put away Celia’s platinum ring.
Now she just had to return to the family like this. Even if Rosette found out about this later, she could just deny it.
And there was no way Rosette would question her family about it. Even now, she was struggling to deal with her own situation.
Leila turned around with that thought in mind and met the eyes that were staring at me.
“…?”
Thud-
The box Leila was holding hit the floor with a loud noise. Leila, her body stiff as a board, muttered blankly.
“…Sister?”
Standing in front of the door were Rosette and Mary, and a beautiful woman with striking red hair and violet eyes glaring at her.
“Leila, what are you doing now?”
A cold expression and tone. It wasn’t the Rosette that Leila knew. Was she seeing things?
Clearly, she had gone out with Mary. And she wasn’t even acting as timid as usual.
Helena took a step closer to Leila, who had a pale and frightened face, and said coldly.
“Are you stealing the gift I gave to Rosette right now?”
A sinister aura enveloped Leila’s body. She was a mage . Leila realized that the woman in front of her was a mage.
The mage who gave the platinum ring to Rosette.
However, the mage would not be able to harm her. She was the younger sister of Rosette, whom she sponsored.
Sighing, Leila contorted her face and spat out venomously.
“Sister. You said you would give me anything I wanted! Are you going back on your word now? I know jewelry better, so I wanted to keep it!”
Even at Leila’s outburst, Rosette didn’t even flinch.
Instead, she was even smiling faintly. This was strange. This wasn’t right.
Leila sensed that things were not going according to her plan. In this situation, her sister should apologize and say she was sorry.
“A mage has a duty to protect the person they sponsor. So, as it looks suspicious to anyone, I will punish you.”
Helena’s firm words brought her back to reality.
“I guess there’s no more room for disagreement.”
Leila’s face turned pale.
“Sir Kiris.”
And a ridiculously handsome mage appeared behind Helena. He was glaring at her with contempt.
Leila closed her eyes tightly.
She had been mistaken. Rosette was no longer the foolish sister who would give in to her.
Leila felt anger rising inside her, but she couldn’t say anything.
“Leila.”
Rosette approached Leila and brushed her disheveled hair.
“Do you understand now?”
Leila realized it. She had been played by Rosette.
She realized that all of this was planned.
“I’m not someone you can mess with.”
The whispering voice made her body tremble. Leila felt goosebumps rising all over her body and could only stare blankly at Rosette.
