I Became the Villain's Master - Chapter 54
Chapter 54
Kiris seemed upset when he thought of the nobles who would attend the banquet.
Kiris didn’t seem to be on good terms with the Crown Prince at the Amoni Garden, so how angry would he be if he was invited to the banquet?
Before he awaken as the villain, I quickly came up with an excuse.
“R- really? Well, I understand.”
My face, flustered with embarrassment, was reflected in his red eyes.
“Do you really understand?”
“Yes. You’re attending because of His Highness the Crown Prince. I’m a little uncomfortable being invited too.”
Kiris was blankly staring for a moment before he spoke with the corners of his mouth raised.
“No, I like it because I’m going with the Mistress.”
“Really? Then why…”
“Just because. It pisses me off that other guys are seeing Mistress.”
Kiris seemed worried that the nobles would recognize me. I quickly stepped in to ease Kiris’ worries.
“You can’t kill them.”
“I won’t kill them. If Mistress doesn’t like it.”
“Thank goodness….”
As I sighed in relief, Kiris fixed my messy hair with his large hand.
“Kiris?”
“Oh, Mistress. I changed your hair color.”
At Kiris’s words, I let out a sigh. And then I looked in the mirror.
“This is…….”
Instead of my familiar brown hair, silver hair, just like Kiris’, was flowing.
“I don’t want people to recognize the Mistress.”
“…Thank you.”
I looked at my unfamiliar appearance. No, but isn’t this too flashy?
My hair was an uncommonly gorgeous silver. My originally ordinary impression changed in an instant.
It was obvious that I would get more attention at the banquet, but I couldn’t bring myself to ask him to change it to another color because I could feel Kiris’ sincerity.
“I don’t think they will recognize me like this. You only changed my hair color, but my whole appearance changed somewhat.”
“Yeah. You’re pretty.”
Kiris, who was smiling broadly, held out his hand to me.
“Mistres, shall we go? We’ll be late if we don’t leave now.”
I quickly came to my senses and nodded shyly, holding out my hand.

So I got into the carriage with Kiris. The maids who would help me at the banquet and Mary got into a different carriage.
Louis decided to stay and guard the house with Snow.
‘Wow, jackpot.’
I kept exclaiming in admiration inside the carriage that was as big and fancy as a small house.
Wow, a magic carriage!
It was a carriage that moved with magic power instead of horses, so there wasn’t much shaking.
It was a self-driving carriage. I think I read in the newspaper recently that the Magic Tower was researching it.
I almost fell asleep in an instant because of the comfortable ride.
‘This is magic!’
It was hard to keep admiring it, but the magic power that existed in this world made it possible.
“Isn’t this really expensive?”
“Hmm? Do you want it, Mistress?”
As expected, Kiris’ sense of money was beyond imagination. I let out a hollow laugh at his words as if he was offering a light gift.
“What? Can I really have it?”
“Yes. It’s a magic carriage that the Magic Tower is researching to commercialize. I’d be happy if Mistress rode it first.”
How can I get that?
…I wanted to ask that, but I realized that Kiris was someone who could do that.
“Oh, I don’t have to ride a carriage, and it’s burdensome to receive something like that… It’s fine.”
I felt guilty about accepting it for free. I didn’t have to ride a carriage in the first place.
When I tried to refuse, Kiris stroked his chin and stared at me intently.
“That’s a face that’s too regretful to say no.”
“…No, it’s not.”
How did he know? Honestly, just this one carriage would be enough for me to spend lavishly until the day I die.
My face turned red, and I averted my gaze toward the window.
“I wasn’t thinking anything like that, so don’t tease me.”
Kiris let out a pleasant laugh.
“I’ll believe you, Mistress.”
There was a brief silence, and then the carriage came to a stop. Judging from the lavishly dressed nobles moving about outside the window, it seemed we had arrived.
My body was already trembling with excitement, and I felt like tap-dancing inside the carriage.
“We’re here.”
Kiris opened the carriage door and got out first. I held Kiris’ hand and got out of the carriage comfortably.
A servant standing in front of the banquet hall noticed us and greeted us.
“May I see your invitations?”
At the servant’s words, Kiris summoned the invitation in the air and placed it in the servant’s hand.
After checking the contents, the servant’s eyes widened and he bowed.
“Lord Kiris. Lady Rosette. Your invitations have been confirmed. Enjoy the banquet.”
“You don’t have to announce my name.”
I quickly told the servant, and the servant looked puzzled but soon nodded.
“Sir Kiris is entering!”
At the same time, the doors to the banquet hall opened.
I took Kiris’ escort and stepped into the banquet hall.
