I Became the Tutor of the Royal Twins - Chapter 273
Chapter 273

It was reported that Rosé and Ferre were with Belzebuth in a desolate mansion a short distance from the imperial palace.
The mansion, which must have had its days of glory and beauty, had been abandoned for quite some time but still retained its large and majestic appearance from the past.
“They must be inside.”
Sera murmured, looking at the mansion from a distance.
Hundreds of mages and knights surrounded the mansion, but ultimately, the most critical task would fall to her, bringing a rush of tension.
“Sera.”
Helios called her name with a voice full of concern.
Though she had reassured him dozens of times on the way here, discussing what needed to be done, his worry was evident.
“I can do this.”
Sera firmly grasped his hand and then looked around at the others gathered.
People she had grown close to over time were by her side.
The first to approach and greet her was Raphael.
“I’m sorry, Miss Sera. I have no excuse.”
Raphael approached Sera, bowing his head in apology.
His face, laden with guilt, seemed almost on the verge of tears, so Sera shook her head.
“No, Lord Raphael. I chose to do this.”
“But…”
“I hadn’t been coerced into this. So please, don’t feel sorry.”
Sera and Raphael shared an awkward but brief hug.
After he stepped back, Jean cautiously approached Sera next.
“Miss Sera… I’m sorry for not being of much help since the first day you arrived at the palace. It’s as if I ended up exposing weaknesses to Their Highnesses every time without being considerate…”
Jean conveyed his apologies, recalling past events.
Remembering such moments, Sera smiled faintly.
“It’s alright. You even caught a cockroach for me. That was a tremendous help.”
Sera reached out first for a light hug with Jean, who hesitated.
“Take care, Miss Sera.”
Jean spoke sincerely.
After bidding farewell to Helios’s two friends, Sera finally turned to look at Araella.
Araella, hesitantly moving closer, suddenly embraced Sera tightly.
“It was brief, but I was glad to serve by your side. Thank you for treating me with ease.”
“I’m grateful to you, Miss Araella, for taking on the role of my guard.”
“Take care of yourself, Lady Sera.”
“And you as well, Miss Araella.”
Sera and Araella shared a quiet look beyond the veil Araella wore before moving away from each other.
As it was finally time for Sera to say goodbye to Helios, everyone tactfully gave the two some space.
It was unavoidably awkward.
Still seeing concern on Helios’s face as he looked down upon her, Sera reached out to caress his cheek.
She gently stroked his face, prompting a mildly warm smile from Helios.
“It’s going to be alright, Heli. Everything will turn out fine.”
“Yes, we’ll see each other soon.”
Helios whispered back, to which Sera nodded.
Before she departed for her task, she asked one last question.
“Do you remember everything I said I wanted to do yesterday?”
Helios smiled as if it was obvious.
“I remember it all.”
“I’m going to ask you to do all those things as soon as this is over. The dates.”
“Of course.”
Sera hesitated slightly then tiptoed.
Seeing what she intended, Helios, understanding, leaned in to seal her lips with his.
“I’ll be back.”
Pulling away from the kiss and Helios, Sera whispered with a composed face.
As she turned to join Roward and the other priests, moving away, Helios’s voice reached her from a distance.
“I’ll be waiting.”
Sera wanted to look back at Helios but feared she might weaken if she did, so she quickly followed Roward.
And in that moment, as a strong wind blew, she watched from afar as a demon appeared in front of the mansion.
“Let’s make a trade.”
It was the demon’s voice.
Holding the hands of Rosé and Ferre, who were pale with fear, the demon—while wearing the face of Duke Cross—was unmistakable.

Belzebuth watched as Helios walked towards them from a distance.
Surrounded by mages and knights, the moment they saw his face, the children shouted loudly.
“Heli Hyung! Hyung!”
“Oppa! We’re here!”
Rosé and Ferre struggled to break free from Belzebuth’s grasp.
Annoyed by their loud crying and screaming, Belzebuth gripped their wrists tighter.
Apparently hurt by the grip, they soon quieted down, and a satisfied smile appeared on Belzebuth’s lips.
“Send the children first.”
Standing at a safe distance, Helios demanded that Rosé and Ferre be sent over first.
As if that would happen, Belzebuth shook his head.
“No. Simultaneously.”
Uncertain whether he had no choice but to choose his siblings or if Sera had decided to sacrifice herself, Helios nodded.
After a moment’s wait, Sera, who was doused in holy water and covered from head to toe with a veil, slowly appeared from behind Helios.
Such effort to douse herself in priest’s robes and imbue magic and holy power seemed futile, a truly strange effort.
“If you try anything at all, your siblings’ lives are forfeit.”
Belzebuth yanked the children’s arms, pulling them to stand in front of him.
The twins, tears streaming down their faces, hung their heads in fear.
“And you, Rosé, Ferre. Don’t run. Walk slowly. The moment you try anything by running, all the people that you love will lose their lives.”
