Chapter 41.2
“I’ll just ask Cassel when he gets back.”
“Are you going to ask him if you’re his purpose?”
“Not exactly.”
Leilia’s face turned red as she shook her head vigorously.
“I’m sure he must have something he wants, so I’m going to ask him that.”
“If that’s what you want to do, go ahead. It’s necessary to confirm.”
Karin stood up for a moment.
“He’s arrived.”
As soon as Karin exclaimed, as if sensing the power of magic, light gathered in the square. There stood Cassel, grim with blood from demonic monsters staining his clothes and hair, holding his sword.
“Cassel!”
Cassel quickly turned his gaze towards Leilia as she called out to him.
“Have you been waiting?”
“Yes.”
“Well, I guess I should’ve come back a little sooner.”
Karin took a step back when she smelled the scent of the monster emanating from Cassel’s body.
“Human, why don’t we take a shower and talk?”
“Huu.”
Cassel sighed.
As Leilia approached him without hesitation, Karin quickly grabbed her by the collar.
“Monsters could be poisonous.”
“Then, Cassel isn’t in danger?”
“He’s protected by aura.”
“But isn’t he still a novice Sword Master?”
“Intermediate.”
Cassel said, shaking his head.
“When I used the sword, I could see that my level had advanced. The aura is protecting me.”
Leilia nodded in response to his words.
“This is a special herb made by the dwarves. If you wash with it, it will neutralize the poison.”
Then, she tossed the herbs to him.
“There’s a lake if you head east towards the dwarven village. Just go there and wash up.”
Cassel nodded and headed towards the eastern lake as Leilia followed after him.

Karin mentioned that the lake was blessed and purified even if it was poisoned. In addition, herbs were said to quickly heal wounds and detoxify.
“There are actually more demonic monsters without poison.”
Cassel shook his head at Leilia’s words.
“There were many poisonous ones where I fell. I was really surprised to see so many vicious ones gathered there.”
She nodded.
As he took off his shirt and began to wash, she quickly turned her head away upon seeing his toned upper body. He applied the herbs everywhere. However, as he hesitated because he couldn’t reach his back, Leilia approached him.
“I’ll apply it for you.”
Just as her hand moved toward his back, she smiled bitterly as he slowly applied herbs to the wounded area.
“You have a scar on your back.”
“It’s from the war.”
She nodded quietly.
After she applied the herbs to his back and stepped back, Cassel entered the water and submerged himself. The lake wasn’t too cold, so his body temperature didn’t drop. He relaxed before climbing out of the water. He didn’t need to wash his lower body since it wasn’t splattered with much poisonous blood.
“I’m worried because we don’t have spare clothes.”
“Ah.”
Cassel created a wind to dry the area around him.
“You can dry your hair using magic.”
A magic stone was necessary to use magic. The bracelet Cassel wore contained the magic stone, which allowed him to use magic.
“This, too, was given to me by Leilia.”
“Yeah.”
“I’m always on the receiving end.”
Cassel gazed at her.
Behind her, the evening sunset was setting. Thanks to the gentle breeze blowing, her hair swayed softly. Cassel unconsciously moved to stand by her side.
“Have you eaten dinner?”
“I haven’t.”
“Don’t wait and eat it. Let’s go and eat together.”
Cassel held her hand affectionately.
“Aren’t you cold?”
“Well, I think Karen will dry us off once we get to the village.”
She didn’t know clothes could dry with magic. Her expression brightened as she realized this.
Leilia and Cassel walked side by side, holding hands.
