Chapter 29.2
“If I had left it to Leilia, you would’ve tried to handle the work efficiently without dismissing everyone. It’s because that’s your usual pattern. However, I didn’t want to work with them again.”
“Why not?”
She asked him.
“When I see them, it reminds me of the malicious things they did to you.”
He spoke clearly.
Upon hearing his words, Leilia clenched her fist.
“It’s okay because I’m used to such things.”
“You shouldn’t get used to it.”
Cassel shook his head.
“I’ve called the reporters too. I want to correct the mistakes.”
She could guess that he didn’t just call the reporters.
“What are you trying to fix?”
“Calia is known as my mistress, but she has another man she loves. I told her to endure it for a bit, but because I haven’t clarified it until now, she is very angry.”
“Then?”
“His Majesty must know that things wouldn’t go as he wishes.”
Cassel spoke coldly.
As she listened to his story, a feeling of warmth welled up inside her. She felt relieved to hear that there was no mistress. Just that alone would have been fine, but he was even preparing for something like this.
“…Cassel truly thinks of me as your wife.”
As she said that, he gently stroked her cheek.
“Of course.”
I want to stay by your side like this for the rest of our lives.
Leilia nodded, recalling those words.
As she fought back the tears because she knew they would ruin her makeup, Cassel held her hand as they headed towards the new mansion.
With that, all the subordinates that the Emperor had planted were dismissed, and Cassel, accompanied only by Seychelle, who pledged loyalty to Leilia, headed to the new mansion.

Calia looked at her attire and grinned.
Today, she had dressed up as much as possible since she was coming as a guest, not a knight.
Thanks to the Hyllan association’s support, she could afford to live in a good house and buy clothes inexpensively. After changing into new clothes at the shops operated by the Hyllan association, she and everyone else came to Cassel’s mansion fully dressed up as best they could. As most people already pledged their loyalty to Cassel, they were planning to join the order of knights he intended to establish in the future.
The servants were already coming out to clean.
Although the subordinates were trying to help with moving things, the servants brought tea for them, saying it was okay since their clothes could be ruined, encouraging them to take a rest. Since the mansion was being cleaned, they gathered together in the garden and drank tea.
Calia picked up the dessert. It was bread made by the chef with whipped cream and strawberries on top.
As she cut into it and ate it, she exclaimed.
“It’s really delicious. How wonderful would it be to eat something like this every day?”
Zen, who was next to her, whispered at her words.
“You’ll get to eat it in the future. We’re going to live in this mansion.”
“I guess so.”
Calia had a happy thought. Since Cassel had told them to come back to the mansion soon, it seemed like they would be living here for a while.
“It’s really gorgeous, by the way.”
She glanced at the mansion. The gray bricks that enveloped the mansion looked like a picturesque painting from the outside. It wasn’t just extravagant but a genuinely beautiful mansion. Inside, there were chandeliers in each room, and ornate jewelry hung on the walls.
Originally, this place was a building used by the imperial family, though it was remodeled and made into a mansion.
“But do you remember what His Highness said?”
In response to Zen’s words, Calia nodded.
“He said he would reveal the truth soon, so just endure it a bit longer.”
Zen nodded at her words.
After she became known as Cassel’s consort, malicious rumors spread that she climbed to this position by opening her legs for him. It was a vicious rumor intended to denigrate her efforts. Colleagues knew it wasn’t true and were furious, as though it was their personal matter. Still, Cassel remained silent about the rumors, stating that the time hadn’t come yet.
Then, suddenly yesterday, he said it was time to reveal the truth about Calia and called for a reporter.
“Seriously, if His Highness hadn’t asked me to help him, I would’ve twisted the wrist of the b*stard who published that article.”
Calia spoke with an enraged voice.
“But why did His Highness ask me to help?”
She didn’t understand. She could only guess that there were some circumstances that prevented Cassel from telling her.
“There you are.”
At that moment, an unfamiliar voice was heard.
Calia, Jen, and the subordinates raised their heads to see a man who had come to this place. It was Chelias, a man with green hair cascading down to his shoulders.
“Your Excellency the Chancellor!”
“It’s nice to see you all.”
Chelias waved at them.
