Chapter 25.1
The hem of the clothing made a sound as it was removed.
‘My second night with him.’
The memories of the first night were still vivid.
…The pain she felt back then and the joy that followed. It seemed as if her body remembered that sensation and responded immediately. When he started kissing, her body became hot on its own. At the same time, she felt more numb and restless than when they kissed.
Tears welled up again.
“I’m sorry.”
Leilia whispered softly. She wanted to reassure him that she wasn’t sad this time, as she thought he might misunderstand again.
“Are you crying because you’re happy?”
He asked in a feverish voice.
‘…Ah, he’s feeling it too.’
Because they were sharing the same feelings, there was no misunderstanding.
She thought so.
“Yes, that’s right.”
At Leilia’s words, Cassel thrust deeper into her as he coveted her.
And so, their second night passed.

With an anxious heart, Aaron woke up in the morning and knocked on Cassel’s bedroom door. However, there was no response from inside.
Could it be that they were already greeting the morning with his wife? Despite the fact that it was said that he had a mistress on the battlefield, Cassel’s demeanor showed that he cared too much for Leilia. It was as if he wouldn’t tolerate anyone disregarding her presence.
So, for that reason, his heart felt stifled.
It was because he had been overwhelmed by the thought that Cassel might find out about what he had done to Leilia.
At that moment, he spotted Seychelle passing by with the morning newspaper.
“Seychelle!”
“Yes, Mr. Aaron.”
Seychelle paused for a moment and looked at him.
“Is His Highness with the Madam?”
In response to his question, she nodded as if it were obvious.
“His Highness slept with the Madam last night.”
“Haa.”
“Then, I’ll be on my way.”
Seychelle didn’t particularly enjoy talking with Aaron and the people of the mansion very much. She maintained the bare minimum civility and spent as much time as possible by Leilia’s side. In fact, most of the people in the mansion treated her master coldly. And even though she also tried to appease them, they flatly refused.
“Really.”
Now, how was this going to turn out? For them, worrying about how Cassel would react wouldn’t be the only concern now.
“…I should at least apologize to the Madam.”
If all the subordinates offered their apologies, she might accept them.
Aaron thought so.

It felt like morning, so she tried to open her eyes, but her body was stiff. It seemed like sleep was trying to pull her back in, so Leilia subconsciously wrapped the blanket around herself.
“Sleep more.”
It was Cassel, with his low and pleasant voice.
‘…Ah.’
Last night, she slept with him.
…Time and time again, he drove her into ecstasy, letting her fall off the cliff of pleasure.
He kissed her back.
“Do you have an appointment in the morning?”
In response to his question, Leilia shook her head.
“There’s nothing in particular.”
“What about Lucis?”
“I took time off from the association.”
She wanted to spend a few days at home with Cassel when he came back, so she took a leave of absence. She took some time off in the hope that he would spend it with her, thinking that she couldn’t help it if he were with the mistress instead.
“How long is the vacation for?”
“About a week?”
“It’s a good time for a trip.”
His behavior of kissing her neck was unexpected.
“Seychelle will be here soon because I always read the newspaper in the morning.”
She would be embarrassed if anyone saw her like this.
Cassel smiled in response to Leilia’s words.
“If there’s no answer even after knocking, she’ll return on her own. Isn’t Seychelle a capable maid?”
As he uttered, he turned around so that he was looking directly at her as he lay on his back before he continued.
“We are a married couple, so such things will become natural from now on.”
He said so and ate her lips first.
“Leilia is sweet.”
Something soft brushed her lips and slid inside.
Passion was reignited.
Leilia accepted it as she placed her hands on his shoulders. And just as Cassel had predicted, with no response from inside after a few knocks, Seychelle didn’t enter and withdrew on her own.
“Leilia.”
He called her in a feverish voice.
“Cassel…”
The heat below was intense.
She still couldn’t believe that she was doing this with him, that they had become one. At the same time, it felt like he was urging her to realize that this was reality quickly.
The two of them were consumed by the heat.
By the time Leilia woke up again after having such a heated exchange with Cassel, it was well past noon.
