Weed ~The One’s Gardener~ - Chapter 116
Now that she thought about it, the priests’ behavior in front of her seemed just like children trying to ease the tension after a fight between parents or attempting to reconcile them. Once she realized it, it didn’t take long for her to feel it deep in her heart. It was just that Hana wasn’t used to this kind of relationship, so she hadn’t recognized it until now.
Somehow, it made her feel warm inside.
“Alright. If I made the mistake, I should fix it.”
The priests’ faces brightened considerably. It seemed like that was the right answer.

Honestly, Hana knew exactly what would happen if she just left Weed alone. Even if Weed avoided her for a brief moment, he wouldn’t avoid sharing a bed with her. And, based on past history, if she just left him alone, she’d likely find herself in a rather troubling situation tonight.
She would have to say ‘I love you’ until her throat was sore, receiving his se*en all over her body. Somehow, she felt like this time it might be even worse, especially considering the mess he made with his fluids.
Hana covered her face with both hands in embarrassment. She shouldn’t have even brought it up.
If she kept talking like this, the awkward tension would surely lift. However, this time, she didn’t want to clear the air that way.
Not long after, she managed to find Weed.
He seemed to be deliberately avoiding her, but in Lar, playing hide and seek didn’t get anyone very far. Wherever the freshest energy gathered, that was where he would be.
“Weed, I found you.”
Weed’s shoulder, which had been turned away, trembled slightly. If she waited quietly, he would turn around and smile as if nothing had happened, though she didn’t wait for that this time.
“How about we go on a trip?”
“…A trip, you say?”
He turned his head.
After a long time of not meeting her gaze, he finally looked at her. It seemed like he was finally starting to let go of his sulking, and she had to try hard not to smile.
“Do you know this, Weed?”
“What is it?”
“When people get married, or when someone is bonded as a partner, they usually go on a trip as a kind of celebration. A honeymoon. But we’ve never done that.”
“Well… I didn’t know that.”
Weed’s expression didn’t change, but there was a shift in the environment around him. As Hana looked around, soft grass began to grow around him. Sprouts shot up from the ground, and soon enough, tall grasses with colorful buds bloomed all around him.
“So, even if it’s a bit late, would you like to go with me?”
As if he had been waiting for her to say it again, Weed smoothly smiled. His eyes narrowed slightly, and the corners of his mouth lifted in a smile that felt a bit formal yet warm.
However, the flower buds around him had bloomed into full blossoms, filling the air with a rich, sweet fragrance. In an instant, it felt like Hana had stepped into a flower garden.
Lar was a place where the wild energy of nature surged, yet with Weed standing there, he exuded a sense of pristine charm. At that moment, he looked like a picture-perfect figure, and Hana couldn’t help but find it all too easy to understand.
Like the sunlight nurturing the flowers around him, he smiled brightly.
“Of course, if that’s what you wish, Hana.”
His sweetness made Hana laugh out loud.

“How is it? Do I look more human now?”
Hana twirled in a light travel outfit, no longer weighed down by the heavy, flowing robes.
The priests had prepared clothes for her that were suitable for a traveler in this day and age. If she were to ask Weed, even if she wore rags, he would likely stand up and clap, admiring her as if she was the most beautiful person in the world.
But still, she asked.
“You look great.”
“You look great, too, Weed.”
Weed was tall and well-built, so he looked just as good in light clothing. His delicate, leaf-like hair and honey-colored eyes were certainly rare and unusual, though.
“But what about these golden eyes?”
There were only two beings in the world with golden eyes. If they went outside, they would certainly stand out right away.
“Before leaving Lar, we could simply alter the color.”
“How? Hmm… I’m not really used to that.”
For Weed and the priests, it was easy to adjust their appearance by changing their form, but for her, the idea of manipulating her body at will still felt strange.
“Don’t worry, Hana.”
Weed brushed his long hair back and plucked a strand. The green strand quickly crumbled and transformed into a small red fruit.
“This is a Tingo fruit. It has the effect of darkening the pigmentation. For this time, I’ve made it so only your eye color changes.”
“Wow!”
“It’s not something you need to force yourself to get used to.”
It wasn’t magic, but it felt like magic. As the king of all plants, he could create any plant on the spot. She briefly stared at the small fruit in her hand.
“Are you telling me to eat Weed again?”
Weed shrugged, grinning mischievously.
“Please, eat me however you like. I’ll be happy to oblige.”
“Weed!”
Hana chuckled as she playfully tapped his shoulder. He had become quite the jokester. She popped the fruit into her mouth while laughing.
Crunch.
The flesh of the fruit crumbled, releasing a bittersweet taste. She covered her mouth as the juice began to spread.
“Then, let’s eat together.”
Not waiting for an answer, Weed moved closer and pulled her waist toward him.
As their lips met without hesitation, a sweet, lust-filled taste enveloped her. The bitterness of the fruit was long gone.
* * *
Snip, snip.
The sound of scissors cutting hair echoed.
When Hana suggested that it might be better to shorten his hair, Weed agreed. It would be simple to remove his disguise and return to his original form, then change into another form, but he had asked her to cut his hair herself, so she took the scissors in hand.
No matter how much she wanted to, she couldn’t ask the priests to do it. It almost felt like pruning a tree. Somehow, if she thought about it that way, it felt like sacrilege.
Weed sat in the chair. Then, he closed his eyes and seemed to enjoy Hana’s touch.
It was a relief that Weed had calmed down. Although he didn’t act out in anger or try to make things uncomfortable, knowing that he was upset made Hana unwilling to leave him alone.
But what had calmed him down? She knew he would like it, but she still wanted to know exactly what had triggered his response.
Had he liked the idea of a honeymoon? Or had he liked the suggestion of traveling together?
Weed responded positively to every word, every touch, but it seemed like he never thought about doing something else together. He had been so preoccupied with her resting and fulfilling her own desires that it seemed he hadn’t fully understood what he truly wanted.
“Really, we’ve never gone on a proper trip together…”
“Yes.”
Hana thought to herself.
This was all Weed’s fault.
