As the song ended and Arlenrose let go of his hand, his freed hand quickly shot towards his chest like a magnet. Just as Leybid sighed and was about to pat his chest, Arlenrose’s foot firmly stomped on his instep.

Leybid, hopping around in pain from his stomped instep, was met with a sly smile from Arlenrose.

“I never said I would only step on you while we were dancing.”

“That goes without saying, even if you don’t say it…!”

“It’s Your Majesty’s mistake for not being clear about the rules. Then, I shall take my leave.”

Regardless of whether Leybid was making a scene or not, Arlenrose bowed gracefully. It was only after she turned her back that Leybid belatedly came to his senses and reached out urgently.
