Radis rushed to Robert.

Radis glanced back and forth between the sprawled, naked Xenon and the emperor standing dazed on the dais, then followed Robert out of the arena.
The crowd continued to shout endlessly for the departing victors.

“Russell!”
Someone yelled, “Goddess of Fire!”
Flower petals thrown by the crowd blanketed her path entirely in white.
It was too beautiful a path to walk on.
