As the list of names continued, Silanda’s arm began to tremble uncontrollably.

Finally, Silanda squeezed her eyes shut.

Fiarca realized that the names Jahan was calling out belonged to the thirty-two people from the leper den who had been left behind.

Jahan, trembling with fear, finished calling out each of their names.

Even after reaching thirty-two names, the list didn’t stop.

Fiarca looked at Silanda.

Now, Silanda couldn’t even lift her shaking arm properly. Eventually, her tears fell onto the weapon as she couldn’t hold back.

The names Jahan was reciting were the names of sixty-eight people, including those who had died in the cave. Eventually, Jahan finished the list under the sunlight, and everyone waited in silence until the last name was spoken.

The moment Senu’s name was called, Jahan’s last piece of ammunition was loaded into the weapon.

The Nervana people all looked up.

Suddenly, an immense amount of water surged out, and the surrounding area began to flood rapidly. The dam broke, and water rushed down, completely submerging the forest. Everyone at the wide rock was swept away by the rushing current.

A head suddenly popped up out of the water.

It was Yaru.

She cursed every world she could think of as she struggled in the water.

She desperately tried to rise above the surface, but it was almost impossible. With her hands and feet bound, no matter how much she tried to rise, she was inevitably dragged back down. The others who were also bound must have been in the same situation, and a wave of despair washed over her.

Nihitan and the others were nowhere to be seen.

Just then, something gripped the log tightly. Yaru eagerly reached out and pulled it towards her.

Red hair surfaced above the water. Avisak, as soon as she climbed onto the massive log, immediately stabbed her dagger into Yaru’s side.

“Yaaahk—!”

In excruciating pain, Yaru’s body tumbled.

Her body, now partially submerged in water again, twisted as she fell.

Avisak, wielding her dagger once more, screamed like a madman.

“You think I’m going to be swept away by this stream? Do you think that this little bit will bring down Perugia? The fate of Nervana will not change! The forest ends here! The standing army is marching from the plains to Nervana Forest! No matter how much you struggle, the Perugia army will capture every last one of you and destroy you all!”

Blood was gushing from the wound on Yaru’s side. Clinging to the tree while trying to avoid the dagger’s swing, she couldn’t even speak properly.

However, after such a long battle, Yaru was already worn out. Avisak, had a massive build for a woman, so she was difficult to subdue. On the giant tree drifting down the river, it was hard even to maintain her balance.

Yaru swayed.

It seemed the gods were on Avisak’s side. The tree tilted again, and Yaru slipped once more.

Avisak saw her victory.

“Nervana is finished…! Legends, myths, throw them all away! It’s now the era of Perugia!”

Avisak screamed and swung her dagger toward Yaru’s arm, which was gripping the tree’s edge.

In that instant, Yaru’s body shot upward.

Avisak’s pupils dilated as a huge shadow fell over her.

It was as though time had stopped for eternity. Then, as she turned, paralyzed by fear, a terrifying sight unfolded before her eyes. The water droplets clinging to the spider’s legs and body, wrapped in its web, reflected the light, shining like the sun itself.

“Ah… ah…!”

Avisak was horrified.

What she saw was Enya, riding atop the skull spider, looking like God.
