My Dear Grand Duke on a Leash - Chapter 56
Chapter 28.2 — Best Bridesmaid (10)
“So, what should I do now? Grand Duke keeps saying you’ll take care of everything, but I can’t just leave it all to you. Marriage is something we both do together.”
“Princess, you only need to remember this one thing.”
He suddenly rose to his feet.
“Grand, Grand Duke…?”
A massive shadow engulfed her before he swiftly crossed the main table with his long legs. It was a movement that seemed to leap over some boundary, some barrier.
As he sat down at the table, her knees brushed against the inside of his thigh.
More precisely, they touched his heated pillar.
Even though it was his sensitive area that was touched, Riette’s nerves sprang up like a tense cat, and her hands and gaze couldn’t seem to find a place to settle. At the same time, her knees involuntarily clenched, her mouth felt parched as if she had been wandering under the scorching sun, her chest heated up and her stomach tightened.
Cain reached out with one arm, grasping the back of the couch and leaning closer. As if, just like yesterday, he was about to gently and languidly press his lips together with hers…
“I’ll love the Princess from this day forth.”
His warm breath tickled her lips.
“We have fallen into a passionate love so intense that we’ll promise to marry within a week. We’ll pretend… so thoroughly that everyone will be convinced of our sudden marriage.”
Slowly, his lips drew closer and touched the nape of her neck. They gently descended to the boundary where the neck met the shoulder, then carefully grazed it.
“Ah…!”
Riette hurriedly covered the moan that escaped her lips from the unfamiliar kiss with her hand, and her toes curled tightly.
Unknowingly, she was gripping his clothing tightly. She didn’t even know herself whether she was trying to push him away or pull him closer. Cain pressed his lips to the place where he had left a mark as if apologizing. Kissing meticulously, he ascended along the neckline as if engraving a tight seal.
It was a kiss that felt like an oath or a vow.
It was as if he was imprinting his seal on it.
As a strange tension arose, it felt as if she was being exerted with force, yet it also felt as if it was gently tingling. It was a sensation she hadn’t known when there was no such area. The heat that had risen to her head couldn’t find an exit and swirled around in front of her eyes. Even though it wasn’t even a significant stimulus, she had no idea how to deal with the irregularly inflating hot breath in her chest, so her head was spinning.
Riette whimpered, breathing heavily as she clutched the hem of his clothes.
“Grand, Grand Duke. Why now, this…”
He brushed his lips against her ear and whispered.
“The Princess is weak at acting. In the future, when acting becomes difficult, remember the sensations you’re experiencing right now.”
“Hnn, yes… Ngn—I get it, so stop…”
She couldn’t bear it any longer. The fact that Ian was sleeping right behind them on the bed pricked at her like thorns. If he were to wake up…
“Again.”
Cain gently kissed her head.
“Lower your voice.”
“Okay… uh?”
“You did very well, Princess.”
As she nodded slightly in response, he gently caressed her cheek as if acknowledging her performance. Even though she had no idea what she did well, the slow caress on her cheek and his low voice sent shivers down her spine.
He gazed down at Riette.
A fresh scent like fruit on a summer day as her flushed cheeks and her body trembled as it reacted to the slightest touch. In addition, her lovely cheeks blushed easily when she was nervous…
He had an impulse to chew and swallow every inch from her forehead to her toes.
Since yesterday’s encounter, he had spent more than half a day holed up in the bathroom. It was all because the ambiguous touch had brought an unbearable thirst, as if he had swallowed seawater, creeping into every corner of his body.
One drop.
One drop was all that was needed before the desire that was ready to break down the dam boiled like lava.
As if trying to suppress the surging lust, Cain raised his head as taut, rigid veins emerged on his long, toned neck. Under his well-fitted uniform, even his muscular forearms had veins bulging to the limit.
He gazed at her with heated eyes, like a dog gazing at its owner. As he saw the marks he had imprinted on the nape of her pure white neck like a crimson seal, the impulse that welled up from beneath his subconsciousness grabbed hold of his rationality. With his large hand slowly stroking her thigh on top of the dress, the smooth silk flowed like waves, carrying his heat down her skin.
Riette watched.
It was blatantly asserting its presence from within his right trousers, standing so firm and intimidating that it could be seen through his clothes from afar.
