I Think I’m a Horror Game Villain - Chapter 37
Chapter 37
With a bright smile, the girl placed Tommy in the doll chair and rummaged through the large box behind her. From the box, a man in a suit, a woman in a dress, and a young child doll came out one after another. She sat in front of Tommy with three dolls in her hands.
“Let’s play family from now on.”
‘Family?’
“This is dad, this is mom, this is sister… no, older sister! And you will be the youngest brother adopted into this house.”
Family play, adopted child? It seemed like it wasn’t an ordinary family play.
“Well then……”
The girl grabbed Tommy with the father doll’s arm and then…
Bang!
She threw him to the floor.
“You useless thing! I told you not to show up in front of me!”
The girl grabbed the father doll’s foot and stomped on Tommy.
‘Ugh!’
Instead of an echoing sound, only the sound of cloth rustling was heard from Tommy, who had become a stuffed doll. However, Tommy could clearly feel the pain of being crushed all over his body.
‘Ouch! It hurts! Stop it!’
Tommy screamed silently. It was not allowed for Tommy to curl up or cover his head.
“It hurts?”
The girl who had been stomping on Tommy mercilessly with the father doll’s foot tilted her head. He thought the terrible beating would stop now, but…
“I can’t help it. You’re adopted, you know?”
The girl continued to assault him, muttering something incomprehensible.
He was beaten for a long time without even losing consciousness. The mother doll splashed cold water on her, and the older sister doll picked up the marbles rolling on the floor and threw them to him.
‘What kind of family play is this!’
The girl said to Tommy, who was suffering from the relentless one-sided violence.
“It’s a family play. My family always did this to me.”
‘…They always did this?’
“Yeah.”
‘That’s not a family! This isn’t family play, it’s just violence!’
The girl blinked her eyes twice and frowned.
“I’m tired of it.”
The girl, who spoke in an irritated tone, put Tommy in a cage-shaped box. She tied his arms and legs, which were made of cotton that couldn’t move anyway, with rubber bands.
‘It hurts. I’m cold….’
Tommy shivered as his whole body ached and the cold air touched his wet body.
‘Please, save me.’
The girl, who read Tommy’s mind, asked.
“Are there other people here besides Tommy?”
Tommy was shocked by her curious voice because he thought his friends might be in danger because of him. Tommy quickly shouted.
‘No, there’s no one else but me!’
However, the girl could read Tommy’s mind.
“Liar. There are four more people besides you.”
The girl knew all about the existence of his friends, which he had unknowingly thought of.
‘No…!’
“Zion, Rose, and Heyna… Huh?”
The girl’s face suddenly brightened.
“Is Heyna here too?”
‘Heyna?’
Tommy was surprised by her attitude, as if she was happy to see an old friend.
‘You know Heyna?’
“Yes! Of course. Heyna is my friend.”
* * *
I got up, dropping the pile of keys.
“The real key is not here.”
“Huh? What do you mean by that, Heyna?”
There was no time.
I walked to the fountain without answering Zion.
“Heyna, do you know which one is the real key?”
Rose followed me with her eyes sparkling.
“Yes.”
“Really? What is it? What is the real key!”
“The real key is not there.”
No matter how much you dig, there are countless keys. I didn’t even bother to pick up the keys in the fountain and took a few more steps.
I stopped behind the fountain.
Eve was holding the fruit of good and evil. The snake was with its mouth wide open next to her.
I put my hand in the snake’s mouth without hesitation. It felt damp, as if I had put my hand in the mouth of a real snake because of the fountain water. I carefully groped with my hand and touched the sharp fangs one by one.
Squeak-
A faint friction sound was heard when my finger touched the right canine tooth.
‘This is it!’
I grabbed the canine and pulled it out, shaking it left and right.
Then…!
Thud!
The key fell with a clear sound.
“That key is…”
