I Think I’m a Horror Game Villain - Chapter 116
Chapter 116
“.…”
“I think, even without my memories, I trusted you. I believed you were on my side.” Dekir’s expression was a complex mixture of joy and sorrow. “After learning that Napolitan manipulated our memories with entry number 13, I started to think… maybe the emptiness I felt was because I’d forgotten something truly precious, something taken from me by Napolitan.”
That’s why I acted so impulsively, unlike myself.
“That’s why I went there. To reclaim what I’d lost.”
I couldn’t quite explain why I thought that going into the forbidden room was the way to do it. It was just an instinctive pull.
“Now that I’m saying it out loud, I don’t even know what I’m talking about. Um, what I mean is…”
If I had to summarize the jumbled mess in my heart, it would be this: “You’ve become someone incredibly precious to me, someone I can’t live without.” You are precious to me. I wanted him to know that more than anything.
“With you by my side, I feel like I can overcome anything, no matter how scary or difficult. So, please… will you stay by my side, like you are now?”
Dekir, who had been silently listening, subtly tightened his grip on my hand. He covered his face with one hand, taking a short, deep breath. The skin of his cheek, visible between his fingers, was unusually flushed.
“Honestly. It’s not like I’m a child, to be so happy over words like these…”
“Huh?” He murmured something under his breath, then lowered his hand, meeting my gaze. “The reason you’re telling me this now… is because you’re going to F, not 4, isn’t it?”
“Uh, um, yes?”
His unexpected words caught me off guard. How did he know? It was true. The reason I suddenly brought up such an out-of-place topic in this situation was… ‘Because I’ve decided to go to floor F.’
Dekir didn’t want me to go to floor F. I felt bad telling him I was going anyway, after he’d pleaded with me so earnestly. And I was afraid he’d be disappointed in my choice. That’s why I decided to tell him how much he meant to me first. To show him that I wasn’t taking his words lightly, that my choice wasn’t a reflection of how much I valued his opinion. Deki chuckled. Thankfully, he didn’t seem upset. “Heyna.”
“Mm-hmm.”
“Even if you don’t say it, I know you cherish me, Heyna. And…” Dekir’s cheeks flushed a delicate pink as he smiled brightly. “No matter what choice you make, even if it’s something I don’t want, I could never hate you. Because I truly love you, Heyna.”
His heartfelt confession made my heart race, yet a pang of guilt twisted inside me. Holding onto his unrequited love felt incredibly selfish.
Dekir gently took my hand, raising it to his lips. His touch, cool and soft against my skin, sent an involuntary shiver through me. “I love you, Heyna.”
The warmth from his lips spread up my arm, flooding my face with heat until I thought it might burst.
I couldn’t voice the “I…” that lingered on my tongue. Dekir’s fingertip brushed against my lips, then he raised it to his own, shushing me. “You don’t have to answer.” He whispered. “Knowing you truly cherish me is enough.”
He seemed genuinely happy, which only intensified my guilt. I felt as though I were doing something terrible to him.
“Shall we go then? To find the missing children?”
***
Dekir guided my hand to press the button.
“F floor.” A low, feminine voice announced as the F button glowed red. Then…
Clank.
The elevator swayed slightly.
“Going up.” The voice echoed again, and the elevator began its ascent.
“4th floor.” With each floor, the voice announced its arrival.
“5th floor.”
“6th floor.”
Wait… The Clarence Manor only had five floors…
“7th floor.”
“8th floor.”
“9th floor.”
The elevator continued upwards without stopping.
“Dekir, something’s wrong.”
He must have realized it too, because he pulled me close.
“10th floor.”
“11th floor.”
“12th floor.”
“13th floor.”
Finally, the elevator lurched to a halt on the 13th floor.
Had we arrived? I wondered if the F floor was actually the 13th. Just then—
“13th floor. 13th floor. 13th floor. 13th floor. 13th floor.” The voice, like a broken record, repeated the floor number rapidly. A status window appeared, signaling a decrease in my sanity.

“13. 13. 13. 13. 13.” The announcement became increasingly distorted, more grotesque. And then…
“Eff, eff, eff, eh, eh, eh…” A noise-laced shriek, like a tortured scream, tore through the air.

Goosebumps erupted across my skin. I covered my ears, but the piercing shriek continued unabated.
The elevator shuddered.
“Going down.” This time, it wasn’t ascending. It was plummeting.
“Going down. Going down. Going down.” Faster and faster.
This wasn’t just going down…
“Going down! Going down! Down, down, down!”
My stomach lurched as we plunged. We were falling.

The elevator was in freefall. I couldn’t focus on the notifications flashing before my eyes.
“Dow, dow, dow, dow, dow…” The stuttering voice cut off abruptly.
Crash!
A deafening roar and a bone-jarring impact ripped through me. Before I could comprehend what was happening, everything went black.

Villainess No.121
I feel like it would become a great kdrama if they change the game mode to modern era. The plot is really good, although I feel cringe during their passionate conversations full of delicate blossoms of love. Like pleasssse! Stop it! You are in the middle of a survival game. They are just like some couple i know of.
