I Grabbed the Tyrant’s Heart - Chapter 83
“Did you know?”
Seeing Tess averting my gaze, it seemed like the answer was correct.
“Is that why you hate playing with Ethyl?”
“Euseniel, you’re getting sulky.”
“Tess.”
Tess took a deep breath and closed his eyes.
“That’s right. I hated him because he liked you. I’m afraid you’ll like him too.”
If so, I wished he had done it some other way instead of crying. I wish he bothered me less, but then I would have forgotten about Tess.
Still, after hearing the reason, I felt that the childhood Tess was cute, so I laughed.
“It looks like you’ve gained weight on your face.”
“Is it a good thing?”
“Yes.”
As I held the cold cheek, my body temperature began to transmit slowly.
Tess, half-opened his closed eyes, looks at me with his eyes moving slightly.
“I had a nervous feeling when I saw you after a long time, but now I don’t.”
Father also said that His Majesty had softened up.
– Because you came, Euel.
I felt like I heard Aurin’s voice.
My Tessvalun. you will never change
“You have to eat well. Did you eat all the jam I brought you?”
“There is little left. I will finish it within this week.”
“Yes, that’s good.”
As I brushed his jet-black hair, it slipped through my fingers with a sound.
Tess’ slightly reddened earlobes were pretty. His long eyelashes trembled as if they had been hit by water droplets.
“I’m going to a meeting for the two of them, too. I will come and tell you after I’ve seen it.”
Ethyl’s change of heart isn’t surprising, and I don’t feel betrayed either. Not because I couldn’t accept his heart, but because I assumed he would change.
“Yes, come and tell me.”
Tess whispered as he held my wrist and buried his lips in my palm.
“I’ll be waiting for you.”
I smiled at Tess, whose eyebrows were still twitching.

“Yes. Maybe it’s because the mining king hosted it, so it’s gorgeous.”
Weathering’s voice was loud, so I tapped him with the back of my hand.
“Don’t say anything that will be difficult to fix, even if you’re Lantia.”
“Oh my, Euel. Aren’t you going to help?”
“Of course.”
The party of Count Daidi, who had many jewel mines, was the pinnacle of luxury. Considering the attention, it couldn’t stand out more than the imperial castle, so the exterior of the building was simple, but the interior was dazzlingly luxurious.
The decorations on the white marble walls are gold.
I looked up and saw the chandelier.
“That’s a diamond, not a crystal, right?”
“It looks like they put magic into the diamond?”
“Diamond….wow that’s great.”
Magic stones occur naturally, but there are ways to enchant minerals in this way. The former is of better quality and easier to process, but is difficult to distribute.
That’s why they tend to use cheap gems or minerals, but Count Daidi lit it up with diamonds.
“Euel, Professor.”
As expected, Arden also showed his face, and he too could not hide his admiration for the diamond magic stone.
“That did not pass through my family. Gilber mainly handles everyday items.”
“The fact that they came up with such an idea in the first place is amazing.”
It was pure admiration.
“I am more than happy to see you two here. By the way, Euel.”
“Yes?”
“Will you be my partner next time?”
It’s something I learned after looking at his face often, but Arden catches people off guard with an innocent face. It takes people aback, but in a sense that it doesn’t feel any malice. It should be said that he has tremendous ability.
How could he be this similar to his cousin, Hanil?
“Should I?”
“Euel, what about me?”
Weathering, who was next to me, said in protest.
“If I keep hanging out with one person, rumors will circulate. Because there are too many people who are interested in other people’s relationships.”
Weathering looked incredulous.
“Am I disposable?”
“I am willing to use you up to three times.”
When people of the opposite sex get close enough to each other, it’s surprising how passionate people become. In that sense, I think those two will also cause rumors.
Just like Aurin and Ethyl, who just showed up.
“Your friends are here.”
“What? Ah, are you referring to Marquis Xuen and Sir Bonart?”
Arden’s brown eyes sparkled with curiosity.
“The two of them were often seen together.”
“I’ve seen them from time to time too.”
“Did the Marquis partner with her younger brother or Sir Bonart, and Sir Bonart’s only partner was the Marquis?”
“Weren’t they together for years?”
“You’re right.”
Arden, counting the years, stuck out his tongue.
“I don’t think there’s anything special about that.”
Sadly, Arden was right.
Rumors should have spread that the two of them were special. But not too long ago, Mother told me that a marriage proposal had arrived at the Bonart family.
The subject of the marriage proposal is Ethyl.
“It’s probably because they’re both good.”
Weathering laughed.
“The gossip people want is not the meeting of a good person with a good person, but the downfall of a proud person.”
It was a very cynical tone.
“Because people often don’t like it when they see someone better than them.”
Weathering’s tone was subtly edged.
“When things go wrong, they think it was a good thing. They don’t know that excessive greed leads to ruin.”
He seemed to forget for a moment that Adren was by his side.
“Or, when it comes to their own gains and losses, they pricked their ears up and pounced.”
“But why don’t they be around a great person to get a piece of cake?”
“Is that about me?”
When I spoke in a light tone to lighten the atmosphere, Weathering immediately relaxed his stiff expression and smiled.
“Thanks to Euel, people are coming out here and there offering to support research funds.”
“Are you going to accept it?”
“What a terrible thing to say.”
Wanting to say no, Weathering shook his head, and his hair, which was tucked behind his back, was slightly disheveled.
“The support from the Concium and my cousin is enough. The purpose of the people approaching is so blatant that it makes me laugh.”
