I Don't Need the Grand Duke's Regret - Chapter 46
Chapter 46

“What is this!”
“Gasp!”
“My God, what is this!”
The servants gasped at the gruesome sight they witnessed. Bianca, with her upper garment off, was struggling and screaming as she was caught by the Master.
“Kyaaak! Your Grace! Your Grace! It hurts!”
“Noisy.”
Ricardo threw Bianca onto the ground. Bianca, who had hurriedly covered her head, looked at the looming shadow around her with horror.
“Kyaak! What are you looking at!”
Blushing in embarrassment, Bianca covered her chest. The servants laughed and jeered at her. She had acted as if she were the Grand Duke’s lover, but she looked ridiculous.
“Are you trying to start a brawl?”
“You’re different from Lady Armilla, Bianca. Do you think the Master will embrace you for acting like this?”
“Shut up!”
Bianca retorted defiantly to the mockery pouting at her. She looked around with eyes full of resentment, but the instigator who made her a laughingstock was nowhere to be found.
After throwing Bianca aside, Ricardo headed straight to the greenhouse. Having seen such a dirty scene, he wanted to see Armilla as soon as possible. Just looking at her face without any worries would help clear his mind.
As Nasir had said, Armilla was indeed in the greenhouse. However, it was slightly different from what Ricardo had expected.
She was engaged in a conversation with a certain man. As if they were lovers, she was snuggled up to him.
Finally, seeing her laugh heartily, Ricardo clenched his fists tightly.
Ricardo had never seen Armilla smile so brightly before.
In front of him, she always seemed shy. Even when she smiled, there was a lingering sense of sadness. He had never seen her laugh as if she were truly happy.
A fire ignited in Ricardo’s eyes as he looked at Armilla’s smiling face.
Armilla belonged to Ricardo.
Then why was she smiling in a place where Ricardo wasn’t present?
As if she could be happy even without Ricardo.
Armilla, who had been whispering to the man with her, straightened up. As she staggered, Ricardo quickly approached and grabbed her.
“Your Grace…?”
Armilla, who was in Ricardo’s arms, called out to him in a trembling voice. Fear flickered in her green eyes as she looked up at him. Understanding her gaze, Ricardo pulled her chin and asked sharply,
“You’re not glad to see me?”
“No, it’s not that.”
Armilla smiled awkwardly. It was a forced smile, very different from the one he had seen a moment ago. Her smile only fanned Ricardo’s anger.
“Come with me.”
“Ah…!”
“Lady Armilla!”
As Armilla’s body, held by Ricardo, swayed like a flower blown in the wind, the surprised Peter, raised his voice.
Ricardo slowly turned his body when he heard Peter’s voice. Heat rose in his eyes as he looked down at the young man’s face that was concerned about Armilla.
He was angry.
Just because this guy was by Armilla’s side.
And taking Armilla’s smile for himself, which not even Ricardo had seen.
Ricardo’s hand found his sword as he glared at Peter. Gripping the longsword he wore at his waist, Armilla desperately shouted.
“Your Grace!”
“Why?”
“Pe, Peter is innocent. Please don’t be angry.”
“…You even know this guy’s name?””
Armilla was pierced by Ricardo’s chilling voice, freezing her heart. She looked up at Ricardo and gulped hard.
She had intended to have a conversation with him when he came, but now he was too terrifying. However, that didn’t mean she could let the sparks fly with Peter.
“He’s the gardener. Your Grace doesn’t need to worry.”
“I don’t need to worry…?”
Ricardo mulled over Armilla’s response. He briefly glanced at the trembling Peter and then grabbed Armilla’s arm. Ricardo locked Armilla in his embrace and warned Peter,
“Stay out of my sight from now on.”
“Yes, yes! Your Grace!”
Once he received the order, Peter lowered himself to the ground. While he kept his gaze on the ground, the heavy footsteps gradually receded. Peter didn’t lift his head until the footsteps had completely disappeared.

Ricardo dragged Armilla to a small glasshouse next to the eastern greenhouse. Lilies, brought in for the princess’s funeral, bloomed lushly in the greenhouse, which looked like a large cage.
Ricardo laid Armilla on the small tea table placed among the lilies as if tossing her.
“Huht, Your Grace…!”
As Armilla tried to grab the table and sit up, her mouth was devoured by Ricardo. Ricardo supported her thin back with his hand and passionately entwined his tongue.
Despite the rough action, Armilla couldn’t push him away. It was because she loved him. It was because she wanted to be close to him, even like this.
His thick tongue explored the inside of her mouth, gently entwining with hers. Despite being a cold man akin to frost, the kiss was passionate. His heat made one side of Armilla’s chest ache.
She was disappointed at his coldness, despite desiring her so passionately. She hated his heartlessness not to have a child.
