Becoming the Villain’s Family - Chapter 275
Chapter 275
“If you want, I can hire about a hundred new servants.”
“No, that’s not necessary…”
Receiving care from a hundred people would be exhausting in itself.
“I understand what you mean.”
With her body in this state, she can’t take care of Luca all day…
Aria’s words trailed off, and Luca opened his eyes wide, as if it might pop out at any moment.
“It can’t be helped during pregnancy.”
And so, Luca’s nanny was secured.
Seeing Aria became a rare sight.
Luca could bet that Lloyd intentionally said those words to drive him away.
‘I’ll get rid of him. I’ll really get rid of him!’
Silently shouting these words to himself, Luca desperately practiced his divine power.
Was it the force of anger that propelled him forward? After about two months, he finally succeeded in mastering his transformation ability.
“Aya!”
Luca reached out towards Aria and walked towards her with small, quick steps.
It was a reunion after two months.
He put on a hearty smile, displaying a lovely face.
“Oh my…”
Upon seeing Luca, Aria covered her mouth in surprise.
This time, it was clear that it wasn’t due to nausea.
“Who is this?”
“Nuca.”
Luca made a cute sound while hanging on Aria’s legs with all his strength. Then, he playfully rubbed his cheek that was colored like a ripe peach.
‘Even if I become human, it would be a bit odd to coo like a baby.’
It was a calculated move, thinking that speaking with an awkward pronunciation would make him look cuter.
Then, whether Luca’s masterpiece hit the mark or not, she made a groaning sound, clutching her chest.
“You have the appearance of a human child.”
“Ish tranform magish! I’m a dracon!”
Luca said proudly.
“You’ve grown a lot since I last saw you.”
Aria looked at the child with satisfaction, then shifted her gaze to the hair and mumbled.
“Black hair. I wonder if Lloyd was this small and cute when he was young…”
Who is she comparing to whom? Does everyone with black hair mean that they’re Noah’s descendants?
Luca was feeling choked up and shouted.
“I much cuther!”
“Alright. Of course.”
Aria laughed, then spoke to Luca as if soothing a child.
“Ah.”
Then.
Aria, with a suddenly surprised expression, hesitated for a moment, then whispered with a strange smile.
“Luca, can you give me your hand for a moment?”
Why?
As Aria whispered discreetly while sitting in a chair, Luca couldn’t resist extending his maple leaf-like hand.
He twinkled his eyes with curiosity, then she gently wrapped her hand around his and pulled.
‘Huh?’
Aria suddenly touched her own belly.
Unlike the previous slender appearance, Luca placed his hand in front of a quite plump belly.
What does this mean?
‘Is she bragging that the baby has grown?’
Just as he was tilting his head, he felt something.
Tock, tock.
A slight vibration from inside the belly…
“What, what is this?”
Luca opened his eyes wide and quickly pulled his hand away, bewildered.
He was so shocked that he momentarily forgot to make a slurred pronunciation.
“Well, it’s the sound of the baby moving.”
“Mo, moving?”
Luca vividly remembered being startled by the sound of the baby’s heartbeat.
He couldn’t help but feel a strange emotion knowing that it was a living life, even though it was so small…
Now, it was even moving enough to be felt from the outside of the belly.
The sensation was quite unpleasant.
“It, hurt?”
Luca asked nervously.
Actually, the baby’s movement was so faint that it could barely be felt.
However, he felt as if he had just been hit hard.
“No, it doesn’t even tickle.”
Aria replied, poking the chubby cheek of the child who suddenly made a serious face.
“Now it can gradually distinguish the Mom and Dad’s voices too.”
“…Really?”
Is a human baby that smart? Luca thought they were just drooling idiots…
Luca recalled the time when he was in his mother dragon’s belly.
The memories of that time were still vivid, even though it was just a year and a half ago.
“Can it hear my voice too?”
“Sure.”
Aria added with a gentle smile.
“If you gently stroke the belly and talk kindly, it understands everything.”
“…”
“Then it will come to love Luca.”
Was it a lie?
Are humans considered such advanced beings? Luca sent a skeptical look, but Aria just smiled sweetly.
“Oh, by the way, I was going to ask Luca something.”
“What?”
“The name of the child. I can’t decide among the three names yet.”
“Hmm.”
What’s the point of knowing about that? Luca made a grumbling expression.
After glancing at Aria’s belly, he made a slurred pronunciation with his tongue again and answered.
“I won wnow.”
“Ah, then what should we do?”
Who will choose the baby’s name? Aria seemed really troubled.
“We don’t have much choice but to choose something.”
Aria choosing? That’s something he won’t like…
“Wad.”
Luca clenched his fist with a determined face, as if he would give it a try.
He was just planning to listen.
“Stella.”
A name meaning star.
“Celene.”
The name of the moon goddess.
“Elaina.”
And then, the sun.
‘Star, moon, and sun.’
Luca thought the smallest and faintest star would be just right.
It was so common and faintly scattered in the sky that having only one seemed worthless.
‘But I don’t have any intention of coming up with a name.’
It’s just a matter of choice.
Before Aria could name the baby, Luca casually answered,
“Sterra.”
“Stella, is it okay?”
“Ung.”
Right, right.
Hurry up and name it with some insignificant star.
