Edgar didn’t have much on his mind when he left the guild hideout, leaving Christine behind sleeping.

He just thought he would spend a few days quietly like before, separating himself from the woman who always clung to him, asking questions and tempting him.

But a few hours later, when he arrived at the docks controlled by the Blue Hammer Guild, he didn’t like the quietness he had been expecting.

The quietness reached its peak when he arrived at the villa owned by the guild under an alias.

“Edgar, you can rest for a moment while I take a look at the current state of the Blue Hammer Guild.”

With that said, Isaac led Edgar to the room with the best view. This place was spacious and comfortable, just like the numerous mansions that the Black Fang Guild had bought to facilitate the commissions of the guild members.

Edgar walked to the window. He could see the docks, which would soon be filled with gunpowder smoke and screams as the guild’s operation began.

But for some reason, Christine’s voice came to mind when he heard the sound of waves crashing against the anchored ships and the large rock embankment.

“Where are you going? How long will it take? Is it dangerous?”

He thought that the questions Christine had poured on him had broken him down. He didn’t answer her questions individually because he didn’t feel the need to do so.

Nevertheless, the woman’s voice reached him like a constant wave. It came to him relentlessly and calmly, and from time to time, it reached deep inside him.

“Ah… It feels so good doing it with you. I think I’m going crazy.”

If the languid and seductive voice was the only thing that left a deep impression on him, he could have blamed it on his bloodline.

When he, who had been preoccupied with atonement and had no interest in holding a woman, showed interest in a female, somehow the power in his blood cried out to hold her more and finish imprinting on her.

Edgar was inexplicably curious about what was causing her to continue to speak to him in an excited voice.

Edgar was curious. Where did Christine Baines, an elite member of the Golden Horseshoe Guild, come from? Could that motive be related to the reason why she had died in agony in his dream?

The subordinates who were busily preparing for the operation soon noticed the sound of heavy footsteps and adjusted their posture.
