Chapter 35.2
Her provocation was so amusing… and it was also exhilarating.
“I suppose I should fulfill my husbandly duties a little more.”
After saying so, he pushed her against the wall. Holding her against it with both arms, Cassel fiercely captured her lips. The heat of his breath inside her sent shivers down her spine as if it were stabbing her heart.
‘I really like this.’
Every time he kissed her, the thirst would vanish momentarily and then return with a vengeance when the kiss ended. Cassel probably didn’t know.
After the kiss ended, Cassel whispered.
“Not enough?”
Her face flushed. His breath became rough.
“I don’t want to have s*x anywhere but in bed.”
His words sounded like a warning.
“It’s enough.”
Leilia took a deep breath for a moment before surrendering herself into his arms. Then, he took her in his arms and smiled.
“Leilia’s body is sensitive to stimulation.”
“Do you know other women well enough to compare?”
“I may not know, but I can tell.”
His words sounded very provocative.
‘It’s because he is like this.’
Leilia thought so and revealed the secret to him.
“The first leader of the Hyllan association was a swordmaster, and he left behind materials related to sword masters. So later on, swordmasters associated with the Hyllan association received help from this material, and the materials they left behind have been passed down through generations. I memorized them all when I was young.”
“So, I knew that if I became a swordmaster, I would be able to discern the location of the magic stone.”
“That’s right. It’s possible even if magic reaches its highest level.”
“I don’t think it would be possible to discern it with magic, unfortunately, since the senses focus on the sword, the speed at which my magical power increases stagnates.”
He stroked Leilia gently.
However, a cool yet refreshing energy could be felt. But then she felt a cool, refreshing sensation.
“It’s the aura transference.”
“That’s right.”
Upon becoming a swordmaster, one could utilize aura. And using that aura, they could protect people through transference. The aura transfered would lie dormant within the person’s body until a moment of crisis, where it would manifest to protect them. Once it had protected, the aura would disappear, though until it was used, it remained dormant within the person’s body.
Leilia raised her head and looked at her husband.
Cassel’s eyes, filled with aura, were blue. The aura’s energy resembled the blue butterflies, the symbol of the Empire.
“We shared secrets with each other one by one.”
“So it seems.”
“Do you have any questions about swordmasters?”
“I wish I could see the materials.”
At his words, Leilia went behind the shelf and retrieved an old book. After a moment, a magical sigil appeared, and she wrote her name on them. As soon as her name was entered, light emanated from the book, and the sigil disappeared.
“You can read it.”
“The security is thorough.”
It was a book protected by magic, so her handwriting was required to remove the protective barrier. Leilia nodded at his words.
“It’s a book that has been around for a thousand years. Since you can’t take the book outside, you have to read it here.”
“I see.”
It wasn’t that thick, so Cassel sat down and began to read the book.
While he read, Leilia stepped out briefly to prepare tea for him.
He was concentrating, not even noticing that she entered carrying a teapot of tea moments later. As she handed him the tea, he drank the tea she had made for him and concentrated on reading the book, concentrating on each sentence.

Time passed, and Cassel put down the book as if he had finished reading it. Leilia, who was watching him from the side, opened her mouth.
“It was a good thing you kept it a secret that you’re a swordmaster.”
“That’s right.”
At the beginning stage of becoming a swordmaster, it is said that the body momentarily weakens as the sword skills expand. Therefore, if exposed to poison, it would spread faster than in ordinary people.
“That’s why there were many cases of sword masters being poisoned in their early stages.”
She tightly held his hand.
“But despite not knowing about that, Cassel never told anyone.”
“Before I left for the battlefield, the Chancellor knew that I was receiving support from the Hyllan association, but he told me to keep it a secret. He said it’s better for a man to hide his power, especially in politics.”
It was sound advice.
“I don’t know what the Chancellor’s intentions are.”
“I don’t know either.”
Cassel shrugged his shoulders.
“Still, I don’t think those words are wrong. Those words have saved me from danger many times.”
He was right.
