After I Sent the Divorce Letter, My Husband Went Mad - Chapter 19
She hated men who would get drunk and act atrociously.
Leilia frowned.
“Let go.”
“You’re acting arrogant. Coming to a place like this and opening your legs for a man, yet you’re saying that you don’t like being a mistress?”
At his sharp words, Leilia swung her arm to shake off his hand, but Juron wouldn’t let go easily as he kept talking.
“How many men have you met?! Why can’t it be me?”
“I think you know that well?”
“…What?”
“What are you doing, senior?”
However, at that moment, Cassel snatched his wrist and forcibly pulled him away from Leilia. Juron’s body was pushed back by the rough touch.
“No… Cassel was your partner this time?”
Juron asked in bewilderment, and without listening to their words, he went on, “After all, this kid does have much money. All the items he uses are of high quality, and he even has all that even my father doesn’t know about.”
He then criticized her.
“Did you come here to spread your legs to Cassel this time?”
As his lips chattered away, Leilia uttered coldly to Juron.
“Senior, Cassel doesn’t do such a thing. I came here with the ticket I received at the event. And even if I spread my legs to another man, I won’t crawl under you.”
Finishing her words, she then took Cassel’s hand. It was an unintentional reaction. As if knowing that, he held her hand tightly.
“Senior, would you like to spar at least once?”
At his question, Juron hardened his complexion.
“If you apply for a competition here…”
As soon as Cassel started talking, Juron clicked his tongue and quickly left the seat as Leilia glanced at him as if taken aback by his sudden actions. A person so arrogant and contemptuous… yet he couldn’t say a word to Cassel.
“What happened?”
“He kept provoking me before, so I showed him my skills once during a sparring session.”
It was a new aspect of Cassel.
‘Something like that happened.’
“Did you have fun teaching him a lesson?”
“That’s about it.”
“I should have seen that!”
Leilia was lost in her imagination. What did Juron do to make the mild-mannered Cassel go so far?
“It’s a good thing that you showed your skills to him like that since he’s a terrible senior.”
“Is that so?”
“Yes.”
Nodding her head, she smiled.
“But, why did you refuse Juron? Young Lady Leilia is the daughter of a count family, and it’d be better if you’re with someone like a marquis.”
Cassel asked curiously.
“I just don’t like him.”
Leilia lowered her eyes slightly. Then, she opened her eyes again as if reminiscing about the past before smiling.
Sadness lingered on her lips.
“They made a bet on me. By giving prizes to those who come over to me. Five men were persistent… and among them was senior Juron.”
Saying so, she shrugged her shoulders.
“It was terrible luck. So being caught by them relentlessly like that, I gave up all my annoyance and irritation. They must have been interested because of that since I often went to bars with men.”
Leilia gently let go of Cassel’s hand. Brushing through her hair, she thoughtfully tugged her hair over her ears for a moment.
“Let’s drink again.”
“All right.”
She wanted to give the drink as a present to Cassel, who sent Juron away like that. So without telling him, she secretly ordered the waitress an expensive wine, which the store sold only occasionally.
That was how they exchanged wine.

At eleven o’clock, Lucis got out of the carriage. Since Leilia couldn’t hold her drinks well, he couldn’t help but worry.
Even though she didn’t drink much, Leilia, who first became the owner of the merchants association when she came of age, often drank and she would fall asleep right after. Because of that, she asked the subordinates of the association to be her drinking companion when doing business.
As a consequence, it was misrepresented, and there were strange whispers going around the academy as the men who bet on her had spread rumors that Leilia had spread her legs and gone to an expensive bar.
‘Huu…’
Because of that rumor, the reputation for her conduct was at its worst.
Leilia, of course, didn’t sit still either. She quietly punished those who spread malicious rumors about her while quietly getting rid of what they had one by one… so that they would suffer little by little.
‘I don’t care about rumors, but they’ll be punished for making up stories with lies.’
The image of Leilia, who said this, came to his mind.
…What if Cassel approached her with the same intention?
Power went into Lucis’ hands.
