Phileal’s eyes narrowed at her words. While he didn’t like that Anais was still worrying about Kylian in this situation, he wasn’t foolish enough to be unaware of what she desired.

“But Anais, I want you to be happy.”

“If you continue to pretend that you haven’t seen anything and suffer in silence, you’ll only keep hurting.”

Phileal didn’t really want to pressure her, but he couldn’t bear the thought of her pretending everything was fine while suffering through the remaining days of her life.

“Let’s tell the Emperor everything just this once. Show him this magic circle and tell him that you are the real Anais.”
