Weed ~The One’s Gardener~ - Chapter 112
The place known as Lar de Rigna Initia was quiet and peaceful. No major events ever seemed to happen here. It had been quite some time since Hana began resting in this place and counting the days had long since lost its meaning.
During this period, Hana truly lived as she pleased. If she craved something to eat, she’d ask for it. She slept whenever she felt like it and woke up whenever she wanted to.
What might have been a monotonous, tiresome routine for others was, for her, enjoyable. Even lying around doing nothing didn’t leave her feeling anxious. There were no worries, even on days when she had nothing to do.
It wasn’t the same as being stuck in inactivity. She wasn’t forced to restrict her freedom because of circumstances. She could do whatever she wanted at any time, and there was no sweeter indulgence than choosing laziness when time was abundant. The only time anything significant happened in Lar was when Hana expressed a desire. If she mentioned wanting a snack, Weed and the priests would spring into action. There was simply nothing else to occupy their time.
Today, like most days, she woke up to sunlight streaming through her window.
The sweet scent that filled the air calmed her mind and soothed her drowsy body, making her feel utterly content.
“Uung…”
“Hana, are you awake?”
And then, that low voice that sounded as if honey was dripping.
Hana belatedly checked her body. Weed’s firm arm was wrapped around her waist, and she could feel his hard chest against her back. When she glanced up, he was smiling softly like the sunlight.
“I was watching you.”
‘What were you doing?’
She didn’t ask, but he answered anyway.
“I was curious when you’d open your eyelids and look at me.”
“Wake me…”
“It was better to wait.”
Weed said that and then gave gentle kisses on her eyelids and cheek. A light morning greeting.
She considered meeting his gaze, as he clearly wanted, but for some reason, Hana felt playful today. Instead, she deliberately squeezed her eyes shut, rolled out of his arms, and slipped away. Lying back down, she covered her face with both hands, stifling a grin.
“Hana?”
Hahaha. A soft laugh sounded above her.
As Hana tried to hold back her giggles, Weed brushed her hair aside and kissed the back of her neck.
“Hana.”
He called her, his voice stretching in a way that sounded almost pleading.
She shook her head and didn’t respond. Weed bit Hana’s ear, which wasn’t covered by her hands, and blew hot breaths into it.
“Why are you like this? What’s not satisfying?”
He asked in a voice mixed with laughter as he put his weight on her. Holding her waist, he nuzzled her neck and back like a puppy, making Hana burst out laughing.
“Hahaha! Weed, stop it!”
“Hana, please look at me. Okay?”
Weed, speaking in that particular teasing tone that weakened Hana, slowly teased her ear. Holding her close with both arms, he kissed her everywhere his lips could reach.
“Ah, haha! That tickles!”
“Hmm? Hana, look at me.”
Even when she buried her face in the pillow or rolled her body this way and that, he followed her everywhere.
With playful kisses, he begged her to look at him and rubbed his body against hers. His hands brushing over her waist and shoulders made her feel unbearably ticklish. The emotions bubbling up inside her were equally ticklish.
Ticklish.
Eventually, Hana couldn’t resist, and with a light laugh, she turned her body. Just as she was about to turn to face Weed, to see the smile she could feel on his face even without looking, she was startled.
“Ah!”
She locked eyes with someone she hadn’t expected to see here, and they were incredibly close.
When Hana was startled, Weed followed her gaze and turned his head. His expression froze. He, too, was surprised by the unexpected appearance of this person.
No, should it be called a person?
“Void?”
He looked identical to Weed, except his color was pitch black, and he stood slightly bowed, watching them intently. His intense gaze prompted Hana and Weed to quickly assess their situation.
Weed was pinning her down as if he might devour her at any moment while Hana lay beneath him, smiling. For some reason, their faces flushed bright red, and they hurriedly sat up, clearing their throats.
It was strange. There was no reason for them to act this way. After all, the one who had intruded on their personal space without permission was in the wrong. Yet, it felt as if they had been caught doing something they shouldn’t.
“What are you doing?”
Nothing had changed. Void’s voice, still as dry as ever, made Hana’s face turn even redder.
