I didn’t even try to hide my twisted sneer. I just let it all out.

Still, I thought we’d be able to have a conversation. But it was as expected.

I smiled calmly, not agitated at all.

“And today is the last day I will call you my father.”

“You fool. Do you think you’re all that just because you heard a few compliments lately? You are nothing without the Primrose name! I gave everything to you…!”

I didn’t even listen to everything he had to say, I just slammed the door.

Though some of his yelling pierced through the closed door. Perhaps the fact that I had just closed the door had become a catalyst.

“You’ll be out of the house for a few days… soon… you’ll regret it… You’ll bow your head and beg!”

It wasn’t even worth listening to.

It was always like this. The attitude that everything would be fine as long as my mother and I became the villains.
