Feeling like every second was too precious to waste, Luciana hurried to her lab.
“Let’s see… I left it here somewhere.”

As soon as she read the first sentence, Luciana realized the purpose of the return magic.
Mating season.
Her grip tightened on the paper, and she almost crumpled it in her hands. Even if she found herself in an unavoidable situation, it wasn’t something she could easily accept.
Though her mind understood that she would have to spend the night with Richt again, actually carrying it out was another matter entirely.
‘I’ve been trying to find a way to avoid the mating season, but…’

「 I didn’t mean to trouble you, but I can’t very well visit your estate personally to register the coordinates, so I hope you understand. Since you studied in the magic department, you should be able to handle basic spells. 」
“…If that’s the case, it can’t be helped.”
After all, it wasn’t too difficult.
“Still, this level of craftsmanship… It looks like it’s a top-tier artifact, even for the Magic Tower.”
Considering the ancient script of the incantations, it seemed that the magic had been specially set to only work with pre-defined spells—likely crafted for a specific client to restrict access from others.

On top of that, since the mana stone would glow in response to Richt’s signal, it meant that at least three spells were layered together.
“This isn’t just any ordinary artifact. I’d guess it’s worth at least as much as a mansion in the capital…”
Though it was a critical matter, Luciana couldn’t help but be astonished at the male lead’s wealth, even from a noble’s perspective.
She settled in the center of the lab, thinking it was much safer to set the coordinates here than in her bedroom.
“Well, that’s one task done.”
Having easily completed the return magic setup, she moved on to examine the contents of the documents.
The first page of the journal, organized by date, detailed the specific reactions of the imprint.
