The Omega Princess and Her Two Leashes - Chapter 93
Chapter 93
“We can’t save them all right now. Even if we could, it would only be temporary. The same thing will happen again.” Arlenrose spoke decisively, but her voice trembled at the end. Her hand, lifted in the air, clenched into a fist. A mixture of sorrow and resolve settled on her face as she recalled the horrors Daimon had endured.
“Then… what should we do?” Leybid asked cautiously, sensing her distress. He was extremely uncomfortable here. He, too, had treated omegas as playthings, their intimacy a form of amusement. But he’d never forced himself on a resisting omega. As much of a libertine as he was, the sight of multiple alphas violating a single omega this way was horrifying. The fact that such atrocities were commonplace here was utterly repulsive.
“We have to address the root of the problem.” Arlenrose lifted her chin with determination. Solving this world’s fundamental issues was precisely why she’d founded and led the Demonas organization.
“Address the root of the problem… how?” Leybid inquired, but Arlenrose turned away, her lips pressed firmly together, a clear sign she wouldn’t answer. ‘Of course, she wouldn’t tell me that much.’ Deciding further questions would be futile, Leybid surveyed his surroundings, clicking his tongue. “This is truly appalling. Forcing intimacy on someone so unwilling… they’re no better than beasts. Vile, despicable creatures.”
Arlenrose looked at him as if he’d spoken utter nonsense. “Your Highness, you’re forcing intimacy on me as well.”
It was a valid point, but Leybid remained unfazed, replying brazenly, “We had an agreement.”
“It was coercion.”
“You didn’t dislike it that much.”
“You didn’t give me a chance to refuse.” Arlenrose’s retort was sharp. Leybid gestured around them with an air of indignation. “Princess, are you seriously comparing me to them?”
“Is there… a difference?”
“Of course there’s a difference! It’s completely different!”
“Only in your perspective, Your Highness.” Arlenrose’s lips curled as she turned away. Leybid stamped his foot in frustration at her blatant contempt. “No, Princess, you clearly don’t understand. I’m not usually that kind of alpha.”
Arlenrose was the only person he’d ever needed to coerce. Every other omega had been willing, so such bothersome tactics had never been necessary. He was, after all, one of the Empire’s most desirable alphas. Any omega would be his for the taking; coercion was simply unnecessary. That was the crux of his argument, though it clearly fell on deaf ears.
“I don’t care what kind of alpha you usually are, Your Highness. The fact remains that my experience is no different.”
“But surely, I’m not on the same level as them?”
“Well… fine. I’ll concede that, unlike them, you haven’t shared me with others.”
Leybid’s face hardened at her nonchalant reply. “Shared you? With others?” The mere thought of other alphas with her made him shudder. The idea of multiple partners, let alone any other alpha with her, made his blood boil. ‘But more importantly…’
“That’s all you’ll concede?” At Leybid’s protest, Arlenrose responded dryly, “What else is different?”
“Plenty!”
“Not to me.”
“I didn’t drag you by the hair or hit you like they did!”
“Is that what makes the difference to you, Your Highness?”
“Isn’t it obvious?”
