The Omega Princess and Her Two Leashes - Chapter 102
Chapter 102
The nobles continued to address him, but Enrique couldn’t respond. Someone who could procure a large quantity of pheromone suppressants, someone who could wield magic or the power of a spirit, someone who happened to be out yesterday and in the vicinity… All the suspicions pointed to one person.
“I apologize. I’ve just remembered an urgent matter…” Without a proper excuse, Enrique rose abruptly and headed out. He needed confirmation immediately.

“Brother.”
Arlenrose’s eyes widened as Enrique burst through the door. Leybid, seated across the table from her, also wore a surprised expression.
“Your Highness, what brings you here so suddenly?”
Enrique flinched, belatedly noticing Leybid’s presence, and bowed his head.
“My apologies, Your Imperial Highness. I have an urgent matter to discuss with my sister…”
“Huh.” Leybid interrupted with a dramatic sigh.
“Frankly, I’m astonished. In the Luversiana Imperial Family, even among family, it’s customary to send word before visiting one another’s quarters. Yet, Your Highness not only disregarded such protocol but also barged into the Princess’s chambers without even a knock… It seems the etiquette of the Fleurose Royal Family differs greatly from that of our Imperial Family.”
Enrique’s face flushed. The Fleurose Royal Family observed similar etiquette. Even though Arlenrose was his sister, she was also a princess of the realm, and bursting in like this was a clear breach of decorum.
But Arlenrose was his sister, and before she was a princess, she was merely an omega. Why should he, the Crown Prince, show courtesy to someone who was little more than a royal embarrassment, a blemish on the family name?
Enrique suppressed this thought. He had been so anxious that he’d forgotten Leybid was with Arlenrose. Even if he didn’t usually bother with formalities, he should have shown some decorum in front of the Imperial Prince.
“Not at all. Basic etiquette is hardly different between our two nations. While this isn’t my usual practice, my urgency led to this oversight. I apologize, Your Imperial Highness.”
Enrique offered a polite apology, hoping it would suffice. He assumed the usually lenient Imperial Prince wouldn’t press the matter further after such a sincere apology.
But today, Leybid wasn’t so easily appeased.
“That, too, is strange, Your Highness.”
“What… do you mean?”
Leybid shrugged at Enrique’s genuinely confused question. His innocent expression suggested he was merely curious.
“You apologized to me. If royal etiquette truly mirrors imperial etiquette, shouldn’t your apology be directed at Her Highness, the Princess, the one you offended?”
Enrique felt as though a bucket of ice water had been dumped over his head. Was he being asked to apologize to her, the royal embarrassment, a mere omega?
“I…”
As Enrique opened his mouth, Leybid tilted his head, as if asking why he hesitated. He seemed genuinely puzzled.
Suppressing his rising irritation, Enrique glared at Leybid but couldn’t find a suitable retort. Leybid’s point was perfectly valid.
Finally, Enrique forced a jovial laugh.
“Ah, of course. I intended to apologize to Arlenrose as well. I merely apologized to Your Imperial Highness first, as I unintentionally startled you.”
Since an apology was inevitable, it was best to get it over with quickly. Knowing this, Enrique turned to Arlenrose.
