Lily woke up at dawn, having fallen asleep in the early evening. Immediately, she scanned her surroundings. Moritz was gone, so who had taken care of her…..?

Next to her on the plush bed was none other than Tobias. Moreover, her body was freshly washed.

Could it be that Tobias had bathed her? No, that couldn’t be. It must have been the maids or perhaps he ordered the servants. It wouldn’t be like him, the one lacking in kindness, to show such personal care.

Irritated, Lily slapped Tobias’s cheek softly. It was a timid form of revenge. She didn’t dare hit him hard.

Tobias muttered in a voice as if wringing out his last breath. He reached out into the air, groped about, and then firmly grabbed Lily’s arm and pulled her into his arms.

“Stop annoying me… just sleep… Lily Ravenas…”

He then hugged her tightly against his chest, pressing her down with his body. Startled, Lily’s eyes widened as she pushed against his chest, but he didn’t budge.

“Ah, just stay still…”

His irritable tone made Lily stop resisting. She then spent the time until dawn cursing the annoying Tobias while nestled in his arms.

Just you wait until I get up. You won’t get away with this. Even as she plotted against him, every slight movement from Tobias would make her scan his face with eyes wide in fear.

How could someone be so disagreeable even in their sleep? Lily narrowed her eyes and glared at Tobias’s sleeping face.

As dawn broke and birds began to chirp, Lily, with her heart fluttering, waited for him to wake up.

Soon after, Tobias woke up. His hair disheveled from sleep, he sat up and looked down at the grinning Lily.

“What’s with that scheming smile?”

“Me? What did I do?”

“Look, you’re still smirking…”

Thinking her smile was actually quite adorable, Tobias closed his eyes tightly. If he kept looking at her foolish grin, he might end up smiling foolishly himself.

Such a strange girl.

As Tobias calmed himself, Lily softly stroked the bulge under his thin underwear.

“What are you doing? Are you h*rny?”

Tobias quickly caught her wrist as soon as she touched him. Startled by his reflexes, Lily looked at him with a bewildered expression.

Though he intended to respond harshly as usual, his words came out unexpectedly gentle. Realizing this, Tobias scowled even more fiercely.

It was absurd. He was irritated that she’d refuse him like this when just a touch would usually have her melting. Was she suggesting there needed to be some kind of transaction? Anger bubbled up inside Tobias.

Last night, he had personally bathed Lily, removed the traces of others, and carefully moved her to the bedroom without waking her. Yet, she knew nothing of his efforts, which only fueled his frustration.

He couldn’t bring himself to say it. Did she even recognize how tenderly he had treated her? He’d never been so gentle with anyone else in his life, but of course, he couldn’t admit that.

Lily wasn’t curious about what he might say next. She was too busy reviewing her mischievous plans to torment him further.

“If you don’t like it, let’s just not do it, the s*x.”

“Are you asking me to kill you now?”

Tobias was genuinely taken aback by Lily’s defiant tone.

Lily collapsed onto the bed with a mischievous laugh at Tobias’s silly question. The flustered Tobias was too funny and cute.

Lily laughed so much that tears welled up. Tobias’s expression hardened as he lost control of the conversation.

No matter how he thought about it, he couldn’t shake off the feeling that he was being completely led around by Lily.

As Lily’s hand moved toward his underwear, Tobias quickly grabbed her wrist and pulled it up. He then climbed on top of her to seize her other hand as well.

Trapped beneath him, Lily chewed the inside of her lip, pondering her situation. No matter what she did, she was literally at Tobias’s mercy.

Lily looked up at Tobias’s hand, holding both her wrists in one of his. Could tying his hands together work somehow?
