More powerful than ever, the Emperor Matthias, with his immense power, had created the finest servants. Lily was in awe of his tremendous power once again.

Following the servant’s instructions, Lily made her way to the second floor of the annex. When she arrived at the office door on the second floor of the annex, she heard Matthias’s voice.

“Gasp.”

Thanks to the intense affair last night, Lily instinctively hid her body, like a small animal escaping from a predator.

“Shh…”

A nearby maid tried to call Lily, but Lily quickly covered the girl’s mouth and distanced herself from the office.

“Where is Duke Benjamin Kurt?”

“He finished his work and left somewhere…”

“Is that so?”

Upon hearing that, Lily smiled brightly. I

t was clear that Benjamin was in the palace library. After finishing his duties, Benjamin often escaped to the library, a secret hideaway, before the Emperor could assign additional tasks.

“Thank you!”

Lily hurriedly left the annex. Standing in front of the building, she asked one of the guards.

“Where is the library? The imperial palace library.”

“It’s that building over there.”

The thought of meeting Benjamin in person made Lily’s heart race. Benjamin Kurt was her favorite character. She was completely excited at the prospect of devouring the man with those decadently beautiful eyes.

Lily was determined to do whatever it took to have him. He might seem gruff and cold, but he was also a lovable man who yielded to Lily’s stubbornness.

Upon arriving at the library, Lily saw shelves packed with books in the spacious room. She slowly walked between the shelves, browsing the titles.

Then, she spotted a blond-haired man with a grayish tint to his hair, flipping through a book. Benjamin was much more well-built than Lily had imagined.

He’s definitely over 180…

Leaving her shoes by the bookshelf, Lily approached him while gauging his height.

“Who are you?”

“I’m Lily of the Ravenas family.”

As the beautiful woman approached with a cheerful smile, Benjamin swallowed hard. He took a step back, creating some distance between them.

It was Lily Ravenas, the woman whom the Emperor had brought before everyone’s eyes last night. Matthias had even personally asked Benjamin for her invitation.

She was the bewitching woman who had captivated both Moritz and Matthias simultaneously. Benjamin regarded her with a wary gaze.

“I thought you were just playing with books, but you seem more capable than I thought.”

Her voice felt much purer than expected. As she came closer and looked up at him with those gem-like jade eyes, Benjamin could see that she was attractive.

Was she bewitching him with her innocent eyes? Benjamin’s purple eyes grew cold. Of course, Lily could sense it. Benjamin was naturally a stern and gruff type, someone who liked to handle everything in a straightforward manner. He was indeed a man who perfectly fit Lily’s taste.

She had expected him to be cautious, especially considering the events at the party and her visit to the Emperor’s bedroom.

Lily wondered what praises she should use so she could break down his guard. She rolled her eyes playfully and ran her tongue over her lips. The determination she had shown when she first embarked on the Benjamin route was still very much alive.

“I heard His Majesty has a very capable servant. He was very talented and has even risen to the position of Duke.”

Lily smiled mischievously and reached out her hand toward Benjamin’s broad chest. Was he trying to avoid her? Her heart raced at the realization that she was making advances towards someone.

“Yes, well.”

Although the tone was somewhat brusque, Benjamin’s cheeks turned slightly red, and he didn’t avoid her hand.

“You’re very impressive. You seem like an amazing person, Duke Kurt.”

Lily couldn’t help but laugh with joy at meeting her favorite character. She smiled brightly, revealing her neat teeth.

Benjamin’s lips also subtly curved upward at the bright and cute appearance.

“Thank you for the compliment.”

“Your eyes are mysterious and cool too. I’d like to see them more. Could you take off your glasses for me?”

It wasn’t really a question; it was more like a request. Lily reached out and took Benjamin’s round glasses off slowly.

Benjamin’s bare face. Lily felt the urge to dance. His blurred vision made him frown and it was even more attractive to her.

“You’re so cute… Completely my type…”

Her words made Benjamin raise an eyebrow in suspicion. What is happening right now? Lily was undoubtedly the Emperor’s woman, the one who had spent the night the Emperor.

Though she seemed to have a close relationship with Moritz as well.

“Give it to me.”

“I’ll put them back on for you.”

Lily raised her heels and placed the glasses back on Benjamin’s face. He might have been a little shorter than men like Moritz or Matthias, but he was by no means short. Lily thought this height was just perfect.

A height difference that allowed her to kiss him without him needing to bend down. A height that made her feel like she was reaching for the sky, something that Matthias or Moritz could never offer.

With his vision restored, Benjamin stepped back and returned to the book he was holding.

“Are you going to keep reading the book? Won’t you play with me?”

Her cute child-like tone, not adhering to formalities. Benjamin tried to dismiss the thought that she was cute and even tried to despise her. He then turned coldly away from her.

“I’m busy.”

“I heard you’ve finished your work though…”

“…”

Approaching Benjamin from behind, Lily wrapped her arms around his waist. Since she had already been seen in such a situation with the Emperor, what was there to be afraid of now?

“What are you doing right now? …..Lady?”

Due to his busy work, Benjamin rarely interacted with women. His body stiffened, and he couldn’t remove Lily’s arms.

“Let’s do something fun, right?”
