It's Not Night - Chapter 207.2
At that moment, the door to the kitchen opened from the other side, and the chef, humming a tune, appeared with a tray full of food.
“Miss, there’s more food here! You must be starving after such a long journey, right? Here, I’ve really outdone myself this time.”
Only then did Andra slowly look around her. It was the first time in her life that the table was overflowing with food. What was even more surprising was that Andra had at least taken a bite of nearly everything on the table.
“I had no idea our Miss ate so well. You’ve always been so picky and ate so little, I was always so upset!”
The chef, who was almost at the age of sixty, quickly cleared the food in front of Andra and replaced it with freshly prepared dishes. In this situation, the only one completely oblivious to what was going on was the chef, who was excited and unaware of the chaos around him.
“My God.”
Suddenly, a dish slipped from Andra’s hand. She covered her mouth with both hands in shock, then looked down at her stomach.
Was this why she has been so tired and sleepy lately…?
“Congratulations, you’re pregnant.”
A short while later, the family doctor arrived. After checking Andra’s pulse, he confirmed her pregnancy, which left everyone in the room in a state of shock.
What followed was chaos.
Albert grabbed the dazed Dustin by the collar, while Andra tried to break them apart. Ian rushed in to stop Andra from intervening.
The servants rushed in to stop them, and the chef yelled that he needed to make good food for the pregnant woman before running back to the kitchen.
In a word, it was a total mess.

“It’s all my fault.”
After the situation settled down somewhat, Dustin knelt down in front of everyone, his head bowed as if confessing as a major criminal. Andra, unable to move because Ian was holding her, reacted sharply.
“No, why is this your fault? You didn’t make the baby alone, I did too. Father, if you’re going to say something, say it to me.”
“Andra, please stay quiet!”
Ian shouted at Andra and forcefully sat her back down. Albert, who had been glaring at Dustin almost as if he wanted to kill him, gave a brief look towards Ian. He spoke in a stern voice.
“Ian, don’t raise your voice. Your sister is now pregnant.”
“…Yes, Father. I was a bit hasty.”
“No, enough of this! Let go of me! Why are you both acting like this towards me and Dustin? Is it such a crime for a couple to have a child?”
Andra couldn’t understand the situation at all. She had conceived a child with the man she loved, so why was it turning into a big problem? Instead of congratulations, her father seemed ready to kill Dustin, and Andra was completely bewildered.
Albert seemed even angrier now than when he had reluctantly given his approval for their marriage two years ago.
“Andra, this is not something that can be accepted easily.”
“Then why? You could just congratulate us! You know how badly I’ve wanted a child!”
Seeing Albert stubbornly refuse to accept it, Andra grew frustrated. It was one thing for anyone else to oppose it, but for her own father to act this way, Andra felt a sense of betrayal. Albert, trying to suppress his anger, spoke in a heavy voice.
“Child, pregnancy isn’t just a happy thing like you think. It’s something that takes a toll on your body. Why don’t you understand that? This father is …”
“But you and mother had me and my brothers, didn’t you? So why is it wrong for me? I want this too!”
“Quiet! Ian, take Andra upstairs to her room. Now!”
Suddenly, Albert shouted loudly and gestured to Ian. Ian immediately grabbed Andra and forced her to her feet.
Then. Andra clutched her stomach and let out a sharp ‘Ah!’. Startled, Ian released his grip on her shoulder. Taking the opportunity, Andra rushed toward Dustin.
“Get up, Dustin!”
“Andra, wait…”
Andra shouted at Dustin, who was still hesitating while glancing at Albert
“If you don’t follow me, we’re getting a divorce!”
Without another word, Dustin immediately jumped to his feet and started running after Andra.
