The wedding of Avelin and Airak, which became a historic event, ended with the couple being the only ones truly happy amidst the tense atmosphere.

The Emperor’s direct guard was deployed to prepare for any clashes between the two families, a rare move that became the talk of the town for many years.

Afterward, the couple was granted the surname ‘Cetya’ by the Emperor, and they traveled to the unknown continent, where they helped Prince Jonathan with his pioneering efforts for two years.

Now, they had returned to the East for Viola’s coronation.

Dustin gently lifted Andra, who had fallen asleep with her head on the desk, and carried her to the bedroom. Lately, Andra had been sleeping more than usual, often dozing off at odd times. Dustin carefully laid her down on the bed, covering her with the blanket. Still deeply asleep, Andra looked as lovely as ever.

“I’ll be back soon.”

Dustin whispered in a soft voice, hoping not to wake her, and kissed her cheek before quietly leaving the room.

As he descended the stairs, Albert was waiting for him, leaning on his cane. Soon, the father-in-law and son-in-law began a walk around the estate together.

“So, I heard she has started writing a book…”

Throughout the walk, Albert bombarded Dustin with questions, most of which were about Andra’s time on the unknown continent. Albert had received letters but wanted to hear more firsthand from Dustin about his daughter.

Of course, the conversation was also peppered with Albert’s advice and occasional scolding.

“Are you being careful about contraception?”

“Yes, sir. Don’t worry, I’m always careful.”

“Good. Keep being cautious. She may want a child, but I don’t want to lose my daughter. I won’t allow even a sliver of chance of that happening.”

This had happened when Andra and Dustin’s marriage was confirmed. Albert had called Dustin and firmly warned him never to let Andra get pregnant. He was afraid that Andra could die giving birth just like the late Marchioness.

Dustin had nodded without hesitation. Though not every opinion between him and his father-in-law aligned, Dustin fully agreed with this one.

Pregnancy and childbirth placed a heavy burden on a woman’s body. Before understanding this, Dustin had once thought about having a child resembling Andra, but after realizing the strain it would cause her, he had naturally given up on the idea. The child would undoubtedly be loved, but considering the pain Andra would endure, Dustin could never ask her to go through that.

And so, even though Andra had mentioned wanting a child, Dustin had consistently made sure to take his contraceptives throughout their marriage. This had caused several conflicts, but Dustin was resolute. He would never compromise on the matter of having children.

He wanted nothing more than for Andra to experience only good things.

“Well then, I’ll head in.”

Having finished their walk, Albert and Dustin returned to the mansion. But the atmosphere inside was strangely different from when they had left—it was chaotic.

At that moment, the butler approached them and spoke in a low voice.

“You two should head to the dining room.”

“The dining room?”

Reluctantly following the butler’s instructions, they made their way to the main dining room, where they found Ian standing with a slightly dazed look on his face. From there, Albert began to sense that something was wrong, and he asked Ian.

“What’s going on?”

“Well, Father… No, just see for yourself.”

Ian stepped aside from the door to the dining room. What Albert and Dustin saw when they entered was Andra, eating a variety of foods non-stop.

Both of them were momentarily silent. Now they understood why the atmosphere in the mansion had felt off.

“What should we do, Father? Should we call for a doctor immediately…”

“Bring one now!”

Albert shouted in a low voice. Ian quickly went to summon the family’s doctor.

Amidst the commotion, Andra, who had been devouring her meal, noticed the three men standing outside the dining room. Surprised by their strange looks, she paused cutting the steak and asked.

“Why are you all standing there… looking at me like that?”
