I Think I’m a Horror Game Villain - Chapter 61
Chapter 61
He sometimes looked at Rose with the same eyes as now. And Rose knew the meaning of that gaze better than anyone else.
A naive young lady who grew up beautifully, knowing nothing.
An arrogant and annoying woman who does whatever she wants.
Most of the people Rose knew looked at her with the same eyes as Tommy.
Even knowing that, Rose acted as she pleased, not caring.
‘Anyway, no matter how I act, people will judge me as they please.’
No matter how she acted, the answer was always the same. So, Rose, knowing that there was no need to try to look good, willingly showed them what they wanted to see.
It was the same this time.
‘I forgot that Tommy is a commoner. I spoke without thinking.’
Rose was ashamed of herself, but on the other hand, she rationalized her actions.
‘It’s natural that the nobles doesn’t know about things like living expenses. It’s not my job to pay the maids’ wages.’
Thinking that there was no need to admit her mistake in front of Tommy, who disliked her, Rose…
“So what? What do you want me to do?”
She continued in her usual arrogant voice, as if she had nothing to fear.
“Are you trying to lecture me?”
Go ahead and do it.
Rose was confident that she could handle whatever came out of his mouth without being embarrassed.
However, even when Rose glared at him fiercely with her eyes wide open like a cat, Tommy didn’t even bat an eyelid. He just flipped through the pages of the book and read Jessie’s diary.
‘Huh?’
Rose bit her lip, her pride hurt.
‘Did he just ignore me now?’
She had been in similar situations countless times before. When Rose glared at him like this, there were three possible reactions from the other person.
They would try to teach the naive young lady who knew nothing, or sarcastically give in with an attitude of having no choice.
However, to be ignored without even a response, this was a first.
‘This is so annoying!’

All the thoughts that Rose had in a short time were meaningless. Because Tommy was a very simple person who didn’t dwell on the past.
“Yeah. It seems like twenty gold coins wouldn’t be enough to live on for a month.”
When he heard Rose’s words, Tommy was very displeased.
‘It seems that the noble ladies can’t live for a month with twenty gold coins.’
He didn’t like the nobles very much. He didn’t like the way they boasted as if their birth status proved their worth, or the way they indulged in luxury with their social gatherings and whatnot.
To Tommy, Rose, as well as Zion, Heyna, and Dekir, were all just ‘ignorant nobles’.
‘That’s why they’re nobles.’
Tommy’s thoughts stopped there.
He ignored all of Rose’s subsequent words.
It would be more interesting to open the next page of the book, which seemed suspicious, than to argue with a woman he couldn’t communicate with.
“Hey, don’t ignore me!”
Tommy’s face hardened at the loud shout that made his ears ring.
He didn’t know what she was complaining about this time, but he glared at her with annoyance.
“What, what!”
Her thin shoulders flinched visibly.
She forced her eyes, which were like a frightened rabbit’s, to look fierce, and she frowned with all her might, shouting at the top of her lungs-
‘She’s like a chihuahua.’
She was like a chihuahua, trying not to let anyone know that she was scared and weak.
“Pfft.”
Remembering the chihuahua, Tommy laughed without realizing it.
A noble young lady, and ‘Liverton’ at that, to think that he would have such thoughts.
All the merchants in the empire had the Liverton family as their main business partner. So, if he hadn’t met her here, Tommy wouldn’t have even been able to make proper eye contact with Rose.
‘What kind of reaction will that woman show when she finds out that I’m a merchant’s son?’
Tommy tried to guess her reaction based on what he knew about Rose’s personality.
‘You forgot who I am?’
‘I’m Rose Liverton!’
‘Don’t ignore me!’
It wouldn’t be much different from now.
‘Well.’
The Rose that Tommy knew was different from the rumored ‘arrogant villainess of the Liverton family’.
When they first met, she would often boast, ‘Do you know who I am?’ But after Tommy revealed that he was a commoner, she didn’t try to put him down or ignore him by using her status.
‘She’s a really strange woman.’
“Did you just make fun of me? You…!”
“Stop making a fuss and look at this.”
Tommy pushed the book in front of Rose, cutting her off. The blue eyes that had been glaring at him slowly turned towards the pages.
Tommy bit his lip, trying not to laugh at the sight of her suddenly becoming quiet after yelling at him. If he laughed, her pride would get hurt, and she wouldn’t stay still. So he tried to hold back his laughter.
Her summer sky-colored eyes seriously looked at the pages. Her rose-colored hair was now messy.
Tommy caught himself looking at Rose and then continued reading the words in the book.
