I Think I’m a Horror Game Villain - Chapter 135
Chapter 135
I left the unconscious Zion behind and went to find Rose and Dekir.
“Waaaaah! Heyna, I knew you wouldn’t abandon us!” Rose cried, throwing her arms around me. Just moments ago, she was screaming about how I could do such a thing…
“Where is that jerk, anyway?”
“Jerk? You mean Zion?”
“Yeah.”
A jerk? It seemed Zion’s standing with Rose had plummeted after this incident.
“Zion’s collapsed down the hall.” I told Rose about the severed wrist we encountered in the hallway.
“You’re saying that white hand we saw earlier attacked Zion?”
“Yes.”
Rose’s face darkened at the news of Zion’s attack. ‘She must be worried about him. Rose is more compassionate than she appears.’ No sooner had I thought this than Rose asked in a worried voice,
“Are you alright, Heyna?”
“…Me?”
“Yes. Are you hurt?”
“Um, yes. I’m fine. Zion protected me…”
“Really? Thank goodness!” Rose’s expression brightened again. I thought she was worried about Zion… but she was worried about me.
As we talked, we reached Zion. Looking down at him sprawled on the floor, Rose scoffed.
“Hmph, always acting like he’s something… Serves him right!”
“Rose, that’s a bit harsh, don’t you think?”
“You’re smiling too, Heyna.”
“What? When did I smile?”
“Just now.”
That’s impossible. I would never take pleasure in someone else’s misfortune. Why do I feel so irritated and annoyed with Zion?
“Honestly, Heyna, you’re too kind for your own good. You don’t have to worry about him so much. Frankly, Zion is kind of a jerk, isn’t he?”
“He is… a little.”
“And I don’t like how he always acts so superior.”
“True.”
“He puts on such a show, but when it really matters, he’s no help at all. Look at him now, passed out and leaving you to fend for yourself.”
“That’s… Ah, no! Rose, let’s not talk about this anymore.” I found myself agreeing with Rose, caught up in her momentum. It felt like we were gossiping about the unconscious Zion.
“We don’t have time for this. We need to find Tommy.” We had to find Tommy, who was likely lost somewhere in his own dream.
‘That’s strange. Did Zion wake up from his dream on his own, then?’ I’d have to ask him when he woke up.
“Mr. Zion. Wake up.” While I was lost in thought, Dekir tried to rouse Zion, shaking him. When that didn’t work, he started slapping his cheeks.
Slap!
“Mr. Zion.”
Smack!
“Come on, wake up.”
Whack!
‘Is he hitting him harder each time, or is it just me?’ Judging by Zion’s increasingly red cheeks, it wasn’t just me.
“Dekir, stop.” I grabbed Dekir’s hand.
“Zion must be really shaken up. Let’s leave him until he wakes up on his own.”
“Alright.” Dekir stopped slapping Zion the moment I intervened.
“Dekir, could you carry him for a bit?”
“…What?” Dekir asked, his expression clearly bewildered.
“Carry… Mr. Zion?”
“Yes.”
His red eyes blinked rapidly, as if asking, “Why me?”
“Rose and I can’t carry him, can we?”
“Th…that’s true.”
“We can’t just leave him here. What if a ghost drags him away or something happens to him? So please, Dekir, could you help him? I’m asking you.”
“…Okay.” Dekir agreed, but with a disgruntled look, he hoisted Zion over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes, folding him like a half-closed flip phone.
“Um, Dekir, maybe you could carry him a bit more… comfortably…” The annoyance radiating from Dekir’s eyes made me decide to keep quiet.
‘Well… at least he’s not leaving him behind.’

As we walked down the hallway, Rose explained how she ended up alone in the elevator and what happened afterward.
“The elevator doors suddenly opened, and I was so startled I tried to run, but then I heard a voice behind me.”
“The voice of the woman inside the elevator?”
“Yes. A woman in a red dress was calling me, beckoning me… My head felt fuzzy, and my body moved on its own. The next thing I knew, I was inside the elevator.” Rose said she tried to get out, but the doors were sealed shut.
“I was terrified. Then the woman asked me where I wanted to go. As soon as she said that, my head went fuzzy again.” Rose winced, as if recalling something unpleasant.
“I think seeing the ballroom on the second floor had something to do with it. I imagined myself at a lavish party there, having a wonderful time. I do enjoy those kinds of social gatherings, you know.” Rose finished her story, then let out a small gasp.
“Oh, that’s right, Heyna. You said you’ve always stayed home and never experienced parties like that, haven’t you?”
“Yes.”
“You haven’t had your debutante ball either, have you?”
“No, I haven’t.”
“Then, when we get out of here, let’s have your debutante ball!”
“…What?”
