I Think I’m a Horror Game Villain - Chapter 111
Chapter 111
“The name ‘Napolitan’ means ‘false guide,’ right? So, I thought maybe everything written in the guidebook was false.”
The third-floor guidebook contained the rules ‘for staying here.’ This implied that if one didn’t want to stay, one simply had to break the rules.
“If you keep following the rules in the guidebook, Napolitan steals your soul. So, to avoid that, I thought I had to break the rules.”
If breaking all the rules in the guidebook was the answer—
“That’s why I decided to break the most important rule.”
The forbidden room. Perhaps something was hidden there? That was the reasoning behind her coming here. And thanks to that, she found Dekir and Rose.
“….”
‘Why are they all reacting like this?’
As soon as she finished speaking, Napolitan chuckled. Rose shook her head with a ‘figures’ look. And Dekir…
“…Is that all?” he asked, his voice trembling.
“Huh?”
“Is there no other reason?”
“No, not really…”
Why? Was there something wrong with her answer?
“Did I say something I shouldn’t have?” she asked, bewildered. Dekir shook his head.
“No, Heyna.”
Despite his denial, disappointment was evident on Dekir’s face. He even seemed a little hurt. She couldn’t think of anything she’d said that would hurt him.
“Let’s stop this pointless talk and get out of this dreadful place.” Rose, who had just moments before been asking with bright eyes, now spoke with a detached tone, then tilted her head. “But Heyna, where are Zion and Tommy?”
“Uh, they’re probably waiting by the elevator. Or they might have gone up already.”
In her haste, she hadn’t properly explained things to Zion and Tommy. She’d just told Zion, “There’s something I need to check,” before he pressed the button for the F floor, and then rushed straight here.
“Then let’s go get them. That way, they’ll remember us too, right?”
‘Oh, right. They haven’t remembered Dekir and Rose yet.’
To restore their memories, she had to bring them here.
“Let’s go, Heyna.” Rose tugged on her arm.
“Wait, Rose. Dekir needs to come too….”
“He has two perfectly good legs. I’m sure he can manage on his own. Right?” Rose shot Dekir a disgruntled look before turning away.
‘What’s going on?’
Did Rose always dislike Dekir this much? Rose constantly bickered with Tommy, but she’d never had any particular issues with Dekir. Unable to resist Rose’s pull, she was dragged out. She felt guilty for not opening the door for Rose earlier, even though she hadn’t remembered her.
‘Dekir will follow us just fine, like Rose said.’ Still, feeling a pang of concern, she called back to Dekir before leaving the room.
“We’ll wait for you by the elevator, so hurry up!”

“Deki—your precious person, to whom you’ve even granted the use of a nickname, must be quite disheartened that you didn’t give her the answer she expected.” The third-floor caretaker needled Dekir as soon as Heina left.
“…Shut up.”
“You seem rather upset. Such vulgar language is unbecoming of the refined Dekir.”
“….”
“To think that Lady Heyna came here not because she remembered you……”
The third-floor caretaker chuckled, seemingly amused. Dekir, who had been quietly observing him, slowly began to walk. He stopped in front of the caretaker and, without resistance, grabbed the man’s tie, yanking him forward. His eyes flashed as he met the caretaker’s gaze.
“Enough.” His voice dripped with a menace that threatened to choke the life out of the caretaker. “I’ve played along with your games so far, but……”
He sounded like a predator warning an intruder who had strayed into his territory.
“…if you cross the line any further, I will respond in kind.”
“Yes, I’ll be careful.” The caretaker didn’t flinch, even under Dekir’s threat. His gaze, fixed on Dekir, still held traces of amusement. “But Dekir, shouldn’t you hurry and follow her?”
“….”
“Who knows what that young lady might say to your precious Lady.”
Dekir abruptly released the caretaker’s tie. Though generally indifferent to others, Dekir wasn’t oblivious. He knew Rose was wary of him.
‘What was the problem?’ He thought he’d sufficiently appeased her. If Rose spouted nonsense to Heyna again, if their hard-won trust crumbled because of that woman’s words…
