I Became the Tutor of the Royal Twins - Side Story 9
Side Story 9

—
After returning from their honeymoon, Sera and Helios became very busy dealing with the tasks they had postponed.
Especially Sera, who was now the headmistress of the academy, found herself busier than Helios as the academy began expanding its enrollment age.
To demonstrate the value and excellence of the academy, members of the imperial family, including Rosé and Ferre, started attending the academy. They were thrilled to meet friends their age every day.
One day, however, a problem arose.
Ferre, who usually couldn’t stop talking about his day at the academy during dinner, was uncharacteristically silent. Rosé seemed to be walking on eggshells around Ferre, too.
‘Did the two of them have a fight?’
In the tense atmosphere, Sera and Helios exchanged glances.
Helios stared intently at Rosé and Ferre and mouthed, ‘No. It doesn’t seem like they fought since Rosé is taking care of Ferre.’
Indeed, it didn’t seem like Rosé and Ferre had fought. Rosé occasionally patted Ferre’s slumped back with a sympathetic look.
Sera and Helios watched Ferre silently with concern. Something was definitely wrong.
‘Could something have happened at school?’
‘What kind of problem?’
‘Maybe he got scolded by a teacher or had a fight with a friend….’
‘Hmm. If that were the case, Rosé would probably have said something by now.’
Unable to find a solution, Helios finally broke the silence.
“Ferre, are you feeling unwell? You don’t seem to have an appetite today.”
But Ferre just poked at the pigeon wing on his plate, not reacting to Helios’s words.
“Ferre?”
Helios called him again.
This time, Ferre didn’t respond either.
Unable to take it any longer, Rosé nudged Ferre with her finger.
“Oppa’s calling you.”
Ferre startled, finally raising his head in surprise.
“N-Nothing’s wrong!”
Sera and Helios quietly observed Ferre, who was clearly troubled.
“Your Highness?”
“Ferre?”
Ferre flinched but didn’t say much. Normally, he would spill everything about what happened and why he was upset….
“It’s just…. The weather is bad today, so I guess I’m in a bad mood.”
He gave a brief answer and went back to poking at the innocent pigeon wing.
Sera and Helios glanced out the window. The evening sky was clear, with stars twinkling brightly.
Realizing Ferre’s mood was genuinely sour, Sera and Helios chose not to press him further that night.
But the next day, Ferre was still downcast. Even when discussing the tea party that he and Rosé were to host the following week, his mood didn’t improve.
“I don’t care who we invite…. I don’t mind the food either…. Rosé can choose whatever she wants.”
Hearing this response, Sera and Helios knew something was seriously wrong.
That night, they decided to quietly call Rosé into their bedroom.
Rosé seemed to have anticipated that they would call her.
“Umm… I promised Ferre I wouldn’t tell though.”
However, Rosé’s cute lips were itching to share the secret.
Sera and Helios knew this well and were also adept at tempting her. They had even prepared their secret weapon in advance.
“Rosé, we’re just worried about Ferre.”
“But I promised Ferre… breaking that promise feels wrong….”
“Rosé, this isn’t tattling. Sera and I just want to help Ferre.”
Helios revealed the hidden milk and chocolates to Rosé. She eagerly accepted them but pretended to ponder over it twice for the sake of her conscience.
“If I drink milk at night, I’ll have to go to the bathroom….”
“You can go to the bathroom before bed.”
“And the chocolate…? What if my teeth get bad?”
“As long as you brush your teeth before bed, it’ll be fine. Come on, drink up.”
Sera coaxed Rosé into drinking the milk, and Rosé stopped pretending to hesitate.
With a white milk mustache on her lips, she asked for another cup and then began to chatter about what had happened to Ferre.
“Ferre got rejected.”
“What?”
“What did you say?”
Helios and Sera were astonished by the unexpected news.
Love, already!
While it wasn’t too early for Rosé, who had already experienced her first love, Ferre seemed far from interested in such matters.
Before they could fully process the surprise, Rosé added another comment.
“Actually, he got rejected without even confessing.”
Helios and Sera were even more shocked.
Rejected without even confessing!
