“Oh my.”
Sera, who had been quietly watching, whispered in admiration at Ferre’s chivalrous act.
She had always thought of him as just a little kid, not expecting such behavior from him.
“Looks like a happy ending, right, Heli?”
Sera muttered while watching Ferre, who had turned red from being hugged by Lily.
Helios shared her sentiment and showed a very impressed expression.
“Indeed. Rosé did it again.”
“She’s really amazing.”
“Absolutely. She takes after me.”
“Of course, it’s thanks to Her Highness Rosé.”
“You know, it’s all because of me that Oppa and Sera got married.”
“That’s true. If it weren’t for you…”
Watching Ferre and Lily holding hands, Sera and Helios suddenly heard Rosé’s voice and looked down in surprise.
There was Rosé, proudly standing between them with a very satisfied look on her face.
“Rosé?”
“Your Highness, how long have you been there?”
“Just a little while? Anyway, you two know very well that I played a big part in your marriage!”
Rosé spoke confidently and sat at Sera and Helios’s table.
While Ferre and Lily played together, Rosé sat between Sera and Helios, sipping juice.
At that moment, a boy with black hair and red eyes briefly passed by on the lawn. It was Jerome, the one who had given Rosé her first heartbreak.
Seeing him, Sera grew curious and cautiously asked Rosé.
“Your Highness Rosé, do you have someone you like these days?”
“Me?”
Sera nodded.
“Not necessarily someone you like, but maybe a friend you want to get along with…”
Rosé tilted her head and then frowned. She glanced at Helios, then pulled her chair closer to Sera.
“Actually…”
As Rosé began to speak, Sera gestured for Helios to give them some space.
Helios, feeling left out, widened his eyes in a dramatic expression of mock surprise.
“This is a secret between girls, Heli Oppa.”
“Yes, it’s a secret between just us girls, Heli.”
Though Rosé and Sera declared this, Helios still leaned a bit closer. Despite feeling slightly left out, he obliged and gave them some space.
“I kinda received a confession.”
Rosé whispered with a slightly embarrassed expression, indicating that there had been progress in her love life, just like Ferre.
“Really? From whom?”
Sera asked, leaning in with curiosity.
“Well, it’s a bit…”
“A bit?”
“There are many.”
Both Sera and Helios widened their eyes at her answer.
“How many are we talking about?”
Helios gently inquired.
One, two, three.
Rosé began counting on her fingers, listing the names of various young nobles, starting with Edward, whom Sera knew well, and continuing with others from the academy.
When Rosé’s count exceeded one hand, Helios’s expression grew a bit stern.
“Rosé, how many in total?”
“Hmm… less than ten.”
“So, nine?”
“How did you guess, Sera!”
Rosé looked at Sera, surprised.
“I just had a hunch!”
Sera laughed as she replied.
Rosé then described the various ways she had received confessions—letters in her desk drawer, messages hidden in candy, chalkboard scribbles, and more.
After listening to all the fascinating tales, Sera and Helios concluded that children’s romantic endeavors were more complex than they had imagined.
“So, is there no one among them that you like?”
“Nope.”
“Not even one?”
“Nope, not one.”
Rosé answered lightly and then waved her hand, saying she wanted to go back to playing with her friends.
As they watched Rosé energetically play with her friends, Helios muttered with a slightly worried expression.
“Rosé seems to be very popular.”
“It’s not unexpected, right? Her Highness Rosé is beautiful, kind, and very perceptive.”
“But nine?”
“She’s smart enough to build strong boundaries if she isn’t interested in someone. Don’t worry too much.”
“You’re right.”
Helios sighed, watching Rosé’s retreating figure.
He knew there was no need to worry.
Just a moment ago, it was clear.
Rosé was a natural-born dating expert, different from him and Ferre.
She would likely handle romantic matters much better.
And perhaps…
Jerome, who had briefly passed by, caught Helios’s eye.
Though Rosé claimed she no longer liked him, Jerome still seemed to fit her taste.
If Rosé found someone she liked, she would surely make them fall for her…
A light smile played on Helios’s lips.
