Dear Eddert - Chapter 43
Chapter 43

“HIYAA!!!”
Eden was swinging her sword on the highest plain in the Sernotti Territory.
A deep night with the full moon hanging over the hill. Under a large oak tree unknown how old it was, a black shadow swished and moved quickly.
“Haa!”
Every time she screamed and ran like the wind, the wooden posts set at regular intervals were neatly cut into pieces and fell to the ground. She was drenched in sweat showing she had been training alone for hours after dinner.
In fact, Eden’s goal was to keep her body moving until she was exhausted. She thought that if she was tired, she would be able to sleep without thinking about anything.
“Rather than dealing with a block of wood that doesn’t budge, wouldn’t it be more fun to do it with me who moves?”
It was the voice she didn’t want to hear the most in this situation. Eden glanced at him and clenched her teeth.
“If you don’t want to die, shut up and get out of here.”
The full moon shone in the black sky. Walter walked slowly, blocking a wooden post and standing in front of her. Whiish, the wind blew, and Walter’s dark hair fluttered across his forehead.
Walter too, had a complicated mind.
Two months ago, on the night when the red moon emitted a mysterious light, he had tasted Eden’s lips with his tongue in a hurry, succumbing to his desire. He didn’t know that it wouldn’t disappear from his mind.
It was only natural that he immediately apologized to Eden. Because it was cowardly of him to use Eden’s ignorant goodwill to satisfy his own greed until the end.
However, Eden was rather angry with Walter for apologizing. So it meant that while it was a big deal that changed his world, it left no meaning to her.
As he fled, he was angered by the fact and took her clothes with him. He ran with his nose stuck in the clothes filled with Eden’s body scent.
After that day, Walter tried his best to forget the events of the night, trying to act casually. However, when Eden visibly avoided him and now even tried to change her sleeping place, he couldn’t stand it in anger.
He knew he was wrong. But she didn’t have to pretend to be so unconcerned and punish him cruelly in this way.
“…Don’t annoy me.”
Walter let out a hoarse voice.
Eden had been with him for a very long time. From the time the girl who first came to the castle on Walter’s father’s back slowly opened her sleepy eyes. She had bothered him from the time she buried her face in Walter’s father’s back as if to hide from Walter’s disapproving stare.
“Walter… ! Walter… !”
When she came running to Walter wielding the wooden sword, carrying a bread, and was hit on the head by the wooden stick, Walter might have sensed a long ill-fated relationship with her.
“Because I’m too tired to care.”
He always had the desire to win against Eden. The master of the castle, his father Valtri, had never promised the family’s future to his eldest and only son, Walter. He could already guess that his father, who had a strong loyalty to the deceased Emperor, would put skills, not bloodline, in the position of the next castle lord.
Among the many trainees who passed Valtri’s rigorous training and tests, Eden was one of the surest talents that Walter should be wary of.
But.
He didn’t expect to want to swallow her whole. He didn’t know that his desire to possess her would be greater than his desire to win. He didn’t know that seeing her smiling at someone other than him, would make him insanely jealous.
“What?”
“… I want to kill you.”
Eden frowned thinking she had heard it wrong.
He wanted to keep his eyes close to those of hers that widened in unfairness. He wanted to bite down on the small creases on her wrinkled nose with his teeth so that it wouldn’t hurt, and pinch her pouting lower lip with his tongue and lick her tongue.
Since when was it?
Whenever he saw her, an uncontrollable black fire broke out in his heart.
“Haha. You son of a bitch is really…. There are things you can’t say.”
Eden smiled and narrowed her round purple eyes. He felt both sadness and anger from Eden biting her lips.
There were something else he couldn’t say to her
Eden. I want you. I don’t need anything, I only want to be mine.
“Eden.”
“Why, you bastard?”
“Shall we spar together?”
Instead of spitting out what he had inside, Walter looked at her and threw a trap as usual.
“That’s good to hear.”
And Eden, as always, nodded her head without questioning him.
“Accept whatever the winner asks. How about that?”
“Do it.”
Eden sighed without hesitation.
“You know what I want?”
Walter licked his lips and smiled.
What if I tell you if I want you? Eden.
“I don’t care. Do it.”
The angered Eden couldn’t see anything. Grabbing her sword and positioned herself, she exhaled a feverish breath at Walter.
“Because you will never beat me.”
“Really?”
“I want something from you too. Don’t say anything when you lose later!”
Eden screamed and ran towards him. From the beginning, Walter started to move quickly, blocking Eden’s strong attack.
The sound of the two swords clashing on top of a mountain plain illuminated by moonlight never ceased.

“Haa, haa….”
Exhausted, the two fell to the floor gasping for breath. It looked like a typhoon had swept through the plains. The wooden posts that were set up for practice were cut into pieces and flying around, and the clothes he and she were wearing were torn and a mess here and there.
Wham!
After Eden climbed on top of Walter and punched him hard, he gasped for breath.
“Haaa…. You lost.”
Walter laughed lowly as he did not dodge and got hit. His lips were stinging and bleeding, but he felt no pain.
“I guess you really want to win.”
“Yes.”
“What the hell do you want?”
