Maya froze for a moment before realizing the girl was Astin’s sister.
‘Thank goodness. She’s okay.’
Unlike when she had been unconscious, she had a rosy hue on the cheeks and looked lovely.
Maya had worried she might be seriously ill, but she seemed to have a sturdy constitution despite appearances.
Feeling relieved for a moment, Maya glanced back and forth at Noah, who still had a blank expression.
After hesitating for a moment, she asked,
“…Is she your daughter?”
“No!”
The answer came quickly from the girl.
“I’m just a complete stranger who looks like this person, no, god! I met him here for the first time!”
“R-right…”
Maya wasn’t sure why the girl was acting so serious about her explanation. She awkwardly watched as Elaina tried to clarify, unsure how to respond.
It was the first time a child had approached her so freely since Astin, and she felt completely unsure about how to handle the situation.

She got called that all of a sudden

The girl tilted her head, staring intently at Maya.
Not only did she look very much like Noah, but her actions were the same as well.
