He looked down at Amelia and then smiled.

“If you don’t want to have children, eat this.”

Durante held out the vial. Amelia was worried.

“Or have a savage’s child.”

She knew she had no choice at Durante’s snarky laugh. She drank the medicine from the bottle. Then her body began to heat up.
