“There’s a person in Alors named Nira.”
I opened my mouth, mentioning Nira’s ability to conceal magic, which allowed him to work as a spy and a special agent for Alors. However, because he accidentally stumbled upon Duke Alors’ plan of having a ‘fake Ferro,’ he was chased by Alors and eventually killed.

Rick remained silent and was frozen like a statue. When his gaze was fixed between Diello and me, I raised an eyebrow in response.
“Rick?”
I called out to him again.
“Uh, yes?”
It was only then did he finally seemed to snap out of his daze and looked at me with a puzzled expression as if he had heard something strange.
I repeated my earlier instruction.
“Make sure to intervene right before he’s about to be killed.”
“…Understood.”
Rick replied, his response slightly delayed and suspiciously uncertain. As he bowed his head and raised it again, his gaze landed on Diello, who was observing me with sparkling eyes with his back leaning against the wall.

A few days later, the date for the assembly was set. Simultaneously, news came in that Nira seemed to be on the verge of being caught.
“It’s scheduled for a week from now.”
I informed the group that the venue would be Argenta’s villa.

“Since there was an incident in Argenta recently, wouldn’t it be better to hold the assembly there as a celebration of success as well?” ]

I spoke, quickly getting up from my spot. On the other hand, Diello looked taken aback by my sudden action. He blinked, his eyes wide in surprise.
“Are you planning to go there as well?”
“Of course. Unless I, who possess both Alors’ blood and power, am there, persuading Nira through normal means is impossible.”
Even though he seemed like he wanted to dissuade me, this plan couldn’t afford to fail. During the assembly, it would be difficult to act like everything was normal without Nira’s disguising ability.
“It’ll be dangerous.”
Diello said, trying to voice his concerns. Still, this was a plan that couldn’t afford failure so I needed to be there to persuade Nira properly.
“Then, I’ll bring more people with me.”
In response to my statement, he nodded.
“I’ll go with you as well.”
When he added, I hesitated for a moment.

I admitted.
Indeed, it made sense. So, in the end, Diello and I decided to head to Tilah Heights together to rescue Nira in a dramatic turn of events.
