Villainous Husband, the One You’re Obsessed With Is Over There - Chapter 219
Chapter 110.1
Traveling south from the Temple of Tunia to Actilus.
Eden and Richard passed through the County of Tocino’s territory.
Fortunately, Count Tocino escaped Raniero’s punishment. Perhaps it was because Raniero, who returned with Angelica, didn’t seem inclined to punish them. However, being incorporated into the Actilus faction was utterly doomed. Moreover, as rumors spread about the Empress’s escape, their reputation deteriorated to the point where it couldn’t plummet even further.
The lords of other neighboring territories began to openly avoid socializing with Count Tocino and his wife.
It was safe to say they were being ostracized.
Eden already knew the situation in County Tocino’s estate was like that.
This was because news that they were going through hardships even reached the Temple of Tunia. After learning that Eden and Angelica’s destination was the Temple of Tunia, Count Tocino and his wife naturally resented the temple.
There was nothing but decline left for the County of Tocino unless a significant turning point occurred.
Richard, who had heard the story of Eden as they passed through the wilderness, asked if he could persuade Count Tocino to betray his country. It was said that Actilus’s northern border would’ve been breached if he had gotten his hands on the territory, thereby increasing tactical freedom.
Eden was taken aback, thinking Richard was indulging in fanciful tales.
“It will be over if the Count and Countess of Tocino report the matter to the Emperor.”
“That makes sense.”
Even though he acknowledged the reason, Richard couldn’t bring himself to give up on the idea of persuading the County of Tocino couple. He seemed resolute in his belief that it had to be done.
To be honest, Eden was annoyed. He didn’t know why he was obsessed with strange things.
“Then, you can meet the Count alone. I’ll find my own way down, bypassing this point.”
“All right. Let’s meet at this point, then.”
Saying so, Richard spread out the map and pointed to a location adjacent to the southern gate of Count Tocino’s territory.
Eden met Richard at that location two days later. And somehow, by some magic, Richard had completely charmed Count Tocino and his wife.
He chuckled in front of the astonished Eden.

A messenger was sent from the County of Tocino to the operational headquarters in the Capital. It contained a message stating that the Temple of Tunia paladins had traveled south, and they would secretly station troops in the County’s territory.
Enclosed with the message was a letter from Seraphina containing all the details of what had happened so far.
The first to open it was ‘Mantis,’ and the expression he wore upon seeing Eden was truly something to behold.

I lay on the bed as if dead.
It had been days since I woke up.
I pondered over the past few days. Among the things I could do when I was alone, that was the most intellectual thing I could do. On the day when Raniero smiled radiantly and declared my eternal isolation, he kicked me into the abyss of despair and left moments later. It was because he had duties as the Emperor of the kingdom.
That fact truly rendered me helpless.
I cried endlessly while staring at the door. Whether I liked it or not, I was trapped in this room. However, he had other things to take care of and worry about besides me.
He had become my entire world, while I only occupied a small part of his world.
Leaving me alone, he arrived just as the room was getting a little darker. Judging by the color of the light falling on the trees and stones outside the window, it seemed like dusk was still far away.
I curled up on the bed, not even bothering to look at him.
“Angie.”
He called me as if I were a child.
The relaxed tone in his voice saddened me.
“You have to eat. Okay?”
Raniero easily helped me sit up. Although I tried to push him away, it didn’t work.
He didn’t even bat an eye. It was difficult to believe that just a few days ago, he was someone who was so easily hurt by my words and actions.
I felt despondent.
He sat in front of the bed, holding a spoon and a bowl as if it were part of a routine. Like a sweet lover with no flaws, he scooped up a spoonful of rice gruel.
“Come on, try it.”
His attitude made me feel like he was playing house, and anger surged within me.
“I don’t want it!”
I shouted angrily and slapped the bowl away with the back of my hand. As the watery rice gruel left an unpleasant stain on Raniero’s chest, the bowl rolled across the carpet.
I huffed.
Raniero managed this room himself, down to the smallest details, so he would have to tidy up the soiled carpet and the splattered rice gruel on the bedspread himself. But he didn’t show any anger at all. He simply stripped off his damp clothes, pulled out a linen handkerchief from one of the drawers, and wiped himself down.
“It seems like you have no appetite.”
He remarked in this manner.
I collapsed and curled up on the bed.
But how much time had passed?
My stomach began to churn.
