Time-Limited Saintess, You've Been Caught by the Tyrant Once Again - Chapter 68
Chapter 34.2
“Charlotte, don’t scream! Are you okay, are you all right?”
A boy, who was standing there, was wearing armor which looked large for his body. Ellin recognized his face right away.
‘Harald.’
He was Arkan’s younger brother, the figure who had ascended to the throne by eliminating his own brother.

“Harald?”
“Yes, he’s back.”
Arkan furrowed his brow at Bron’s words before he rose from his seat.
“Where are you going?”
“He probably went to see Charlotte.”
“….”
“And Ellin is there too.”
Ellin? Did he call her by name?
Bronn looked puzzled. He stopped what he was doing and immediately headed out to follow his master.
“Well, I’ll give you some instructions while I’m on my way.”
Arkan opened his mouth again as he walked down the corridor hurriedly.
“Is there a problem?”
“I need you to investigate if anyone is being harassed. Something suspicious happened yesterday.”
“I understand.”
“From now on, the maid named ‘Melissa,’ who attended her care before, will be entrusted to serve her. No one else.”
“Understood.”
Bron didn’t stupidly ask again.
He looked at Arkan, who was walking ahead of him. Those quick strides clearly indicated he had ‘worry.’ It seemed that the tyrant Emperor, who ascended the throne with black and dry blood, was changing.

Before she knew it, the servants had long since gone outside and disappeared. While Ellin was puzzled, Harald glared at her before he suddenly began to sweep the room, inspecting the cleanliness.
“You foolish thing. How dare you look down on the Princess so much that dust collects on the windowsill?!”
“….”
“Answer me!”
“I’m Her Highness Princess Charlotte’s nanny, and I have no obligation to clean.”
“What?!”
Clang!
Ellin covered Charlotte’s ears when she felt the child flinch in surprise.
“With all due respect, Your Highness, but what are you doing in front of Her Highness?”
“What?”
“Princess Charlotte is frightened.”
The corner of Harald’s mouth rose at her words.
It was a handsome face that bore a refined semblance between Charlotte and Arkan. If there was something slightly different, it was his eyes. Rather than bright red eyes like blood, his eyes had a subtle amber hue, somehow resembling delicate glass beads.
“Don’t be hypocritical. Do you think those who were afraid when they looked into our eyes care more about Charlotte than I do?”
“It’s true that His Highness the Prince thinks more about Princess Charlotte, but at the moment, Princess Charlotte is afraid.”
“How dare you! Do you find me amusing?”
“I don’t find you amusing. If you’re worried about Princess Charlotte, then what’s the reason for acting so recklessly? Princess Charlotte is frightened by loud noises.”
“How dare you…!”
As he knocked down the table with a vase on it, he gritted his teeth before drawing his sword and aiming it at Ellin. She never thought she’d see the next emperor like this. He was a fifteen years old child.
Ellin sighed.
“Princess Charlotte is trembling right now.”
Despite the fact that Charlotte began to cry out of fear, Harald seemed to have no intention of stopping.
“If I cut off that arrogant neck, others will take it as a warning and take better care of Charlotte.”
“….”
Ellin realized why Harald kept coming off as so overbearing.
It was because he couldn’t stand it when someone neglected Charlotte. That was why he was scared…
“That’s enough, Harald.”
A voice came from outside the door before Arkan entered.
“Ha, brother. It’s quite surprising to see you here like this. It seemed like you didn’t care whether your siblings lived or died.”
Harald lifted the corner of his mouth and smirked.
“It seems you still haven’t cooled your head outside.”
Arkan muttered coldly. Despite being brothers, their interaction seemed rather vicious, and they glared at each other as if they were enemies.
“Put down your sword. Do you want to be accused of treason for displaying a sword in front of me?”
“Arrest me.”
Harald didn’t put away his sword as if he were defying Arkan’s command.
Ellin frowned at the sight.
“You seemed to have been quite comfortable after kicking me out of the imperial palace.”
“If you hadn’t caused trouble in the palace, I wouldn’t have had to kick you out.”
“Trouble? Shall we only discuss the ‘trouble’ of my brother with all the blood you shed?”
Harald chuckled as he spoke.
“I only kill my enemies. You’re my brother. You’re not my enemy yet.”
“Since when has the term ‘brother’ not meant ‘enemy’? They were also your brothers, yet you slit their throats.”
“Yes.”
“Wouldn’t it be better if I also became your enemy now? Cut my throat…”
“I apologize, Your Majesty, Your Highness.”
As Ellin interjected calmly, halting their conversation, both Arkan and Harald turned to her simultaneously.
“Please continue this conversation outside.”
“What? Are you crazy?”
“What are you talking about?”
Daring to interrupt the imperial family’s conversation, or ‘their’ conversation, the brothers simmered with anger toward the person who dared to be impudent. Nevertheless, Ellin tightly covered Charlotte’s ears. She even furrowed her eyebrows slightly as if she were angry.
It was reminiscent of the face of a stern teacher.
“Are you not aware of the conversation you’re having? It’s not appropriate for Princess Charlotte’s emotions.”
As she spoke, her expression seemed to convey even more ‘patheticness’ as if she was wondering why they were behaving like this.
Arkan had a chagrined smirk painted on his face.
Harald frowned even more as he looked at his brother’s face, questioning if he had seen it correctly.
