The Queen Who Deserves To Be Tainted - Chapter 36.1
When Elfreda asked with a look of disbelief, Ejnar furrowed his brows and replied,
“…Are you telling me to apply it myself?”
“No. If you call for Sir Robert…”
“Right, it would be a trivial task for a queen.”
“No, it’s not a difficult thing to do…”
She glanced at Ejnar but ultimately decided to pick up the ointment jar first. As she carefully squeezed a bit of the ointment onto her finger and gently applied it to his injured finger, a stinging sensation spread throughout his body. Yet, it wasn’t just painful. It also felt warm and tingling…
“It’s done.”
As she looked up at him cautiously, Ejnar finally realized the true nature of this sensation. Without a moment’s hesitation, he pulled her closer as she closed the jar.
“Ack…!“
Startled, Elfreda dropped the jar, which rolled across the floor with a clatter. When she reflexively glanced at it, Ejnar felt an inexplicable irritation.
In this situation, was she really paying attention to the jar instead of him?
As an act of revenge, he lightly bit her lip.
When she instinctively parted her lips, he swiftly invaded, pushing deep inside. As their lips rubbed together, and his tongue toyed with hers, Elfreda’s mind went blank. However, when she thought this was a beginning to something more, her senses sharpened.
“Your Ma, huht…!“
It was still early evening, and she wanted to protest that this wasn’t the right time or place, but her tongue was already entangled with his, leaving her unable to speak. All she could manage were soft moans.
“Just a moment. Here, uhp…!“
“It’s fine.”
He whispered as he began to peel away her dress. As the fabric slipped down her shoulders, Elfreda realized she couldn’t stop him and looked at Ejnar with flushed cheeks.
In truth, she didn’t mind. Nonetheless, it was still early, and the thought of someone who might be walking in on them made her anxious. It reminded her of that time in the audience chamber, causing her heart to race even faster.
Ejnar lifted Elfreda and carried her to his personal bedroom next to the office. While she had always waited for him to come to her, this was the first time she stepped into his private space. Although her excitement grew, there were still things that made her uneasy.
“Outside, what about Illene…”
“Don’t worry about Lady Haegan.”
It was absurd that she still had time to think about someone else, though he figured she was being polite since she had mustered the courage to say something.
“After all, we’re not the only ones busy right now.”
Before she could even ask what that meant, her head hit the bed. After that, everything progressed so quickly that Elfreda completely lost the chance to think about anything other than what Ejnar wanted.

Fortunately, no one entered the office. In fact, even if someone had walked in, they would likely have discreetly left after seeing the two suddenly missing.
“….”
She glanced back at Ejnar, who looked awkward and flushed behind her. As he attempted to help remove her dress, her hairpiece fell off, causing her hair to come undone. Though he had managed with the dress, he now struggled to restore her hairstyle.
He adjusted her hair this way and that, but a quick glance in the mirror made it clear they wouldn’t finish anytime soon.
Finally, Elfreda stepped in.
“I’ll take care of it.”
Elfreda looked in the mirror and began styling her hair, effortlessly placing the hairpiece back in its original position. She made it look so natural as if she had done it countless times before.
Ejnar, watching her, spoke with a strange expression.
